You'd think living in New Orleans we wouldn't need such things, but this winter was bone-shatteringly cold (for us anyway... you folks in the north can stop chuckling now.) My partner has short hair and hates hats so her ears were freezing off. I ordered these for her and she absolutely loved them. They actually "snap" onto your ears and stay tight to your head so your ears are perfectly protected against cold and wind. Everywhere she went people wanted to know where she got them and how they stayed on (you don't see a lot of earmuffs in New Orleans so these are a curiosity for people.) If it's cold again next year, I'm going to get a pair, too.

I have not had these long, and have used them now a couple of times. These are great for times when a hat just doesn't do it. They are easy to put on, and there is no band to fiddle with and to mess my hair. They are not as noticeable as regular ear muffs, and they can be easily stored in a coat pocket.The disadvantages are that I can't wear large earrings with them, and, if I am not careful, they can pinch my ears.Bottom line is they have worked for me and I might get some more.

I love to go for walks, with the colder weather I needed something to keep my ears warm, these work great. They are very comfortable too.

I purchased the regular size since the sizing chart indicated an 81% satisfaction for fit due to my large ears which have gotten longer lobes because I am 60. I find I need to stuff my lobes into the bottom of the mitts. Manufacturer could make a larger size that can accommodate older drooping ears. Otherwise I find the mitts to do a satisfactory job.

I wanted something to cover my ears and keep them warm and did not want it connected above or behind my head to mess my hair. I have used them twice now and found them confortable and easy to put on, once you figure the trick.They are reasonably priced and worth a try.
