I used it in a well water system, approximately (40-60 psi range) my fittings were primarily stainless to stainless, but I had a couple of brass fittings also . The Exceptions : Gazoila is a wonderful, soft set product, easy to work with, but you MUST tape first , then apply the Gazoila over the Male taped threads . I used 2 full wraps of good high density tape . A brush ( supplied) makes easy application, and try and stay in the clockwise direction, the same as the tape . The other notable exception, even though soft set , it requires “dry time” . I went on the safe side and gave it a 24 hr set, with no water . This is for potable water , other elements, might be different, I.e. natural gas, propane, etc . One more thing “extremely low shelf life” for the money, no more then 1 yr !!! So check your dates . The applicator brush isn't suitable for doing a really good job of mixing.
