Very greasy oily texture🤨

My favourite sunscreen for my face - nice and creamy, so easy to put on and not sticky, so very comfortable. Also, very good protection from the sun.

I have been using this sunscreen for 7 years and I love it. It's my favorite sunscreen for my dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin. It's non-comedogenic, fragrance free, and only zinc oxide so it's not irritating, doesn't burn around the eyes, and doesn't break me out. I've tried many zinc oxide sunscreens and this one is hands down the best. It leaves very little white cast relative to most zinc oxide sunscreens. Many zinc oxide sunscreens claim to be sheer but it's a complete lie (looking at you Neutrogena Sheer Zinc). This one leaves a very sheer white cast that I think for most light to medium skin tone people wouldn't be an issue. If you have a deeper skin tone you might like their tinted options. Additionally this one does NOT pill or flake off like many zinc oxide sunscreens so you can easily reapply throughout the day, including over makeup, without the texture getting weird. The only complaint I have about this sunscreen is I hate how the volume is just large enough that it's not allowed through TSA in a carry-on. They should either reduce the size by 0.1 ounces or make it bigger so there's not as much plastic waste.

I like Cotz skin tone SPF 40 but I needed a non tinted formula too. I love the fact if u rub this in well it doesn't leave a white cast and I'm white/black carribbean, so I have dark skin. The reason I have not gave this product more stars is because it makes your skin look greasy.. That's if u put a decent amount on and with sunscreen if u want decent protection u need to put a decent amount on!

I am really picky about sunscreen to the point where I’d rather just risk it in almost every case. I haven’t worn sunscreen at all in years. They almost all give me break-outs. I am extreme uncomfortable with the hormone disrupting properties of chemical sunscreens. I also don’t like the “reflective street sign” look that most mineral sunscreens give you, which only intensifies as they turn to disgusting slime the moment you touch water. But last week, I had to be on a boat for 4 days without much of a base tan. I decided this was not the time to risk it. And after tons of searching, I decided I’d give this one a shot. I don’t hate it. That sounds like faint praise, but those are the most positive feelings I’ve ever had towards a sunscreen in my life. Firstly, it did its job. I did not burn, even spending 8 to 10 hours a day on the water. I should note, I’m Southern European/Mediterranean, so even when I’m not tan, I’m not exactly fair. If you are, SPF40 might not be enough for you, but you probably know that. Secondly, I did not look like low-light bicycle safety gear. That’s always nice. And thirdly, it is not slimy. It’s not as matte as I would like, and I can still feel it a bit for 10 or 20 minutes after applying. But it’s not extremely annoying, and if you have dry skin you might not notice. If I had one critique of this sunscreen, I wish it was just a little more matte. And finally, no break-out. It’s almost a week later, and my skin still seems perfectly happy. Congratulations, Cotz. You have made a sunscreen I might actually wear from time to time. That is a feat of engineering dozens of companies have failed to achieve.

It is expensive. Caused me to break out in spots ( and a pasty white face once the cream is on). It goes on rather like thick stage make-up and one has to rub quite firmly to distribute it into something "colourless" .
