Organics Hair Care Shampoo, Lemon Tea Tree, 8 Ounce

I'd only been using baby shampoo or dandruff shampoo for so long and it wasn't getting the oil out of my hair. I had so much oily buildup (even tho I don't use any other hair products). Finally got this shampoo and it worked great! First time in a long time my hair felt truly clean! I'm prone to dandruff, but this shampoo hasn't made it worse at all so far. I love the natural ingredients and I love the citrus smell! I'm just worried it could dry the ends of my hair out so I may get the conditioner to go with it. I wasnt using conditioner for so long since my hair didn't need it cus it was so oily but now with this shampoo I may need it! If you're looking for a natural shampoo to get the greasiness out of your hair, this is a great pick!

I just got this shampoo and tried it right away. I normally have dry hair, but over the last few months I noticed it seemed different. I guessed it could be product buildup, so I tried all the “daily clarifying” shampoos, with no success. My hair seemed to be getting oilier, and oilier, almost waxy. Finally I thought maybe that as I got older my hair had just changed from dry to oily, although that just didn’t ring true to me. Anyway, I looked through the shampoos for oily hair and found this one, which also had mentions about removing buildup. So I gave it a try today and am so pleased! Even wet, my hair felt more like..well…MY hair again. When I combed it out before drying it, I noticed that it wasn’t as tangly as it has been lately. Then I started drying it and was amazed, my hair texture was back to normal, the drying time was back to normal, and when I got my hair dried, it was like it always used to be. I guess time will tell if it is a shampoo I can use regularly or if I will have to rotate it to keep it from making my hair too dry, but with just this first wash, it has left my hair clean but not stripped dry. It definitely removed whatever buildup had been stubbornly attached to my hair, but I would not say it seemed harsh on my hair at all. I highly recommend it!

If you want fluffy hair with body, give this a try. I have medium-length, color treated hair that's very thick and can't wash it every day. Sometimes I let it air dry, using a salt spray or curling gel. Between washes, it was looking dull and oily at the scalp- so I tried this shampoo after reading the reviews. I really expected it to strip my hair but I'm not finding that to be the case. I dried it with a blow drier and round brush and am very pleased with the results. My hair is bouncier and stays cleaner longer. An added plus is that I don't have to use a lot of the product to get a good lather, and it rinses out clean.

I tried this shampoo after struggling to find a shampoo that would get the oil out of my hair- and it worked fairly well. I think it would be good for people who have extra oil in their hair, but not extremely oily hair, like mine. This one kept my hair clean during the daytime (which is 12 hours or so), which is better than most shampoo, but didn't make it clean enough for me to not have to wash it to go out at night. (I tried this to try to get a better smelling shampoo than the one I currently use) I thought it smelled very good, it DOES smell like that lemony floor cleaner scent as you are washing your hair, but once it is rinsed out it leaves a nice, clean, non overpowering scent. (My 2 year old sniffed the bottle and asked if it was food, it smells so good!) As for the comments about it being too thick for the bottle, I must assume the thickness has been changed, it came out perfectly fine for me. I was actually surprised by the fact that it was a little runny, and squeezed hard because of the comments... ended up with a huge hand full. Also, it foams up very very well, so start with a small amount and work your way up.

I used to be able to go 3 days between hair washes, sometimes 4. For some reason, since I moved to the Northeast last summer (I'm from the South), my hair has been getting oily within a day. I'm not sure why; it could be the environment, the water here, or the change in lifestyle. Either way, my hair also began getting really, really flaky; I have dark brown hair, so flakes of any sort make me look like I have dandruff and can't take care of my personal hygiene. I was previously using Güd shampoo from Bert's Bees (which I still really love!), but it wasn't taking care of my hair like I needed since I moved north. I've been using the Lemon Tea Tree shampoo for about four weeks now and man, have I seen a difference. My hair can make it at least two days without getting all oily and gross, and usually it'll last three days without a wash. The flakes are gone. My hair is softer and cleaner. The results weren't as immediate as I would've liked, but when are they ever? This definitely did the trick, and is absolutely worth the $8 price tag.

I have been struggling with seborrhea, psoriasis, and unspecified dermatitis my whole life. Recently it got so bad I started losing my hair. I went to the dermatologist and we tried EVERYTHING. My hair was becoming brittle due to all the prescription shampoos and ointments I was using and my scalp felt like an oil slick. I read about this shampoo on a subreddit about hair care. I bought it because I was desperate but I was skeptical. OMG! THIS SHAMPOO IS MAGIC!! My scalp is no longer oily. I can even go two days without a shampoo now! Before I needed to wash my hair every single day (could probably have done with a wash twice a day really). My scalp is no longer itchy and inflamed. I very rarely find patches of flakes to pick at. And to top it off, my hair is the softest it has ever been. Hopefully my hair will start to grow back in the spots where it thinned out. Too soon to tell. But I am in love with this shampoo regardless.

Update: The first few days that I used this, it worked wonderfully. My hair felt great and it wasn't oily at the end of the day. Now, it's the complete opposite. It gets greasy in the middle of the day and it never feels really clean. Even after shampooing twice, it still feels like there's stuff in there, no matter how much I rinse. I've never had that problem before. I'm disappointed because it worked so well at the beginning. I'm going to give the rest of the bottle a try and I'll update if it gets better.

Ahhh, there’s that squeak I’ve been missing. I have very thin, very short hair. I dont need moisturizers to make it luxurious. I just want clean hair. This totally delivers with a fresh lemon scent. My old shampoo was discontinued a couple of years ago and I’ve been searching for a replacement ever since. Now I’ve found it.

This shampoo is really good for anyone who has oil hair. You should give it a try. Smell is really good too

Ce shampoing a été recommandé par ma coiffeuse pour mes cheveux locksés. C'est un shampoing purifiant donc à ne pas faire plus d'une fois par semaine. Mon cuir chevelu est propre après utilisation

Este champú es buenísimo. Aunque es indicado para pelo graso se puede usar con pelo seco sin problema y si lo alternas con otros de la gama el pelo queda estupendo. No tiene parabenos, sulfatos, siliconas, derivados del petróleo... Es vegano y no está testado en animales. Huele genial y cunde muchísimo. Lo aconsejable es usar muy poco producto y usarlo para lavar bien el cuero cabelludo y luego usar el acondicionador de limón de medio a puntas. El pelo mejora enormente tras meses de uso si se eliminan todas las sustancias dañinas para el cabello. Puede parecer caro, pero lo dicho, echando muy poco cunde muchísimo. Te puede durar varios meses.
