These pillows are definitely better than the ones they are replacing, which were pretty good when I first got them, but have worn out after several years. My concern with these new ones is that they don't seem to be "extra" firm. There is definitely some firmness there, and I slept well on them the first night, but I'm not sure if they will be as long lasting as I'd hoped they'd be. Additionally, when you first put your head on the pillow, you get the sound of Rice Krispies for a while. Time will tell.

They were not as firm as I was hoping for, but they are comfortable to sleep on.

In the past I’ve purchased my pillows in a brick and mortar store, allowing me feel how soft or firm the pillow was. So I was a bit concerned about buying online and hoping for the best. Well, these pillows ARE the best!I wanted a firm or extra firm polyester-filled pillows and there weren’t too many to choose from. Complicating matters was that there are several online retailers who sell these same pillows, and the reviews varied widely: some liked the firmness, others said they were too soft. But my opinion is that my extra firm pillows match that description perfectly. Of course, I don’t know how well they will hold up ... hopefully they will retain the firmness for at least as long as their 3-year warranty. The other concerning thing was that you get 2 pillows for $34. It was hard to believe they would be very good at that price point, since my previous pillows cost $50 each.... and that was maybe 6 years ago. But these new pillows do indeed seem very well made.The only downside is that they are so plump it’s very hard to put on certain pillow cases. I have one sheet set with apparently slightly smaller pillow cases, requiring me to more-or-less stuff the pillow into the case! And these queen pillows are about 4 inches longer than my old ones, so the pillow cases come right to the end of the pillow... there is absolutely no overhang. But those are minor points.

This pillow is the stiffest I've ever slept on, and probably the tallest (under weight). It is like putting a couch cushion on your bed & using it. But it hasn't caused me any neck or back issues yet, and seems to be helping with the bad post-nasal drip that has plagued me (on regular pillows). I do have a herniated disk, and am a 5'7" female, side-sleeper (mostly, but on back at start of night). So I'm glad I'm not having any problems with this tall pillow. I would think a lot of men could really benefit from this style pillow. And I'd try if it your post-nasal drip makes you cough in the middle of the night. (I also highly recommend nasal spray or irrigation 1 hr before going to bed, to clear the nasal passages, to mitigate the drip issues.)

They are cheaply made, with thread that breaks easily. One of the pair the stitching let go as I was removing the tags. As you can see in the picture they didn’t even hide the closure like higher- quality pillows do- honestly the ones from the local big box store are higher quality and cheaper. They’re almost too puffy to use, but I’m making a go of it since I figure they’ll flatten out a little eventually. Overall would not recommend for daily use, but might be good to use for the sham pillows you don’t actually sleep on. I don’t think they’re going to hold up to any laundering.

After one wash, one pillow was ripped and the fill was all over the washer. Use another cover with zipper to seal the fill.

I would buy these again…they have good support but at the same time are soft to sleep on

The pillows were as described: Extra firm and good support. Also that they fit my pillow cases. When shopping for pillows, often times in people’s reviews, they mention that most pillow cases DON’T fit their product.
