Needed Some Adjustment
Bought this for a Tohatsu 4hp four-cycle outboard attached to my 14’ jon boat. Found I needed to grind off some metal at the end of the rod in order to make it fit through the holes on the motor tilt mechanism but once I did, it works great and is extremely sturdy.

Not very good

Worked but I had to shave it thinner to fit. Tad short.
Works as intended.The flopper was too fat to fit through the holes in my 2020 tohatsu 15hp tiller. Once shaved, it pushed through with ease. The shaft was 1/8" too short so I had to apply pressure with pliers and force the flopper to turn. Once installed, it's been great. Hopefully, I don't need to adjust to another hole.

Poor design and quality
It replaces original part; it is made with cheap material, and very poorly craftsmanship. As I opened the bag to get it out, that cheap flimsy spring fell off and couldn't find on the ground.For the price of this rod I was expecting something made of stainless steel; but, it is made of cheap nail like soft plated steel.
