This leather notebook cover is everything it is made out to be, except for one thing: the elastic used to keep the cover securely closed is knotted in the middle of the back flap, resulting in a lump in the middle of the right-hand page which effects my ability to neatly write across the middle few lines.Other than that irritating little mound in the middle of the right-hand page (which does effect my writing), I love the cover.If the knot had been placed at the location of the spine of the cover, where it wouldn't effect writing, I would have given five stars for everything.

Only thing I don't like is that it's so hard to find fillers for it and that it isn't using a standard sized notepad. Other than that, it's a quality item that looks good, has charm and is easy to get into. Another thing that detracts from the score is that once you buy into it, you have to get all the rest of the pieces so this system actually becomes a system and not just one very overpriced notebook.

I’m a big fan of these travelers notebooks having several in my collection, and this didn’t disappoint. Love that I can add and remove inserts as I want.

Finally bought one of these after having looked and thought about it for a very long time. Wish I'd made the jump sooner - it's brilliant! Feels like it will last for decades and then I can save the little notebooks as I replace them. Wonderful quality and packaging.
