Perfect replacement for cracked cap
I bought this to replace a cracked gas cap on a craftsman 24" front tine tiller I bought at a garage sale a few years ago. The cap looks significantly different - the old one had a metal cone inside and was vented differently. This one just has a little vent hole right in the middle of the cap. But it installed tightly and worked great. I don't much care what it looks like, and hopefully it will not let water into the tank like the old, cracked one did. Five stars, great product at an inexpensive price.

... show the bottom and are the dimensions so it's pretty much all guesswork don't waste your time go down ...
These advertisement for the Caps need to show the business in that screws into the tank I bought this one and it doesn't fit anything but that I didn't have much to go by because the fool who put the ad in the Amazon doesn't show the bottom and are the dimensions so it's pretty much all guesswork don't waste your time go down to the lawn mower shop and get the Real McCoy instead of this blind buying

Fit my JD DL-100
This cap replaced the original just fine. It looks a little different, but worked. I had the innards fail from old age, I guess. It was 14 years old. I am sure the Ethanol from today's fuel had something to do with it. The fitting numbers explanations made litte sense to me, so I found the OEM number and cross refferenced it and it said this one would work, and it did.
