Absorbine Liniment Gel (12 oz)

As far as I am concerned this is the absolute best product I have ever used for back pain! I first started using it for a really horrible session of sciatica. A friend recommended it and said she swore by it. She happened to have an extra and gave it to me to try. It was remarkable!! I could feel the pain lessen every day until it was so much better by the end of a week, that I could finally walk straight up. That was 12 years ago and I have been using it at soon as I feel a twinge ever since. I also have recommended it to family and friends! I used to have to buy it at the tack shop and the woman owner told me that she sold more of it for people than she did for horses. I think they wrap it on horses legs but I don’t because, well it is on my back. I wear an old tee shirt that I don’t care about but it comes out with washing. I have used it on my shoulders, also. I am not providing any medical advise here, I am only describing how it works for me. It is over the counter and I think it is similar to the regular strength product but a bit stronger. You could check it with the pharmacist or call the company if you want more information.

Tiger Balm works great for sore muscles after running or back breaking work, however it is expensive and to some, the smell is too strong. Absorbine Vet Liniment Gel is as strong as Tiger Balm, thought it only lasts about 75% as long - no clinical testing here, just estimating. So if you use products like this frequently, this would be a great budget friendly alternative to Tiger Balm.While Tiger Balm has a scent that is more like cloves, this product smells more minty and the scent does not linger as long as Tiger Balm, which can be smelled hours later. Absorbine's scent lasts under 30 minutes. I am sure if you smell my back after an hour you could detect it, but if you needed some relief before going out in public, you would not be embarrassed by the smell of the product.I highly recommend it. I also recommend some nitrite gloves for application; not required, but safer and more convenient; you don't want to "accidentally apply" these types of products to your eye or other tender areas.

Omg I love this gel! First off, it works. I’ve got fibromyalgia and something hurts somewhere at any given time and I love this stuff. It’s the best thing I’ve found. I’m super sensitive to the stickiness of lotion on my skin so I was thrilled when I tried this and it rubbed in and dried so I couldn’t feel it. The spearmint smell is pretty strong but I don’t find it off-putting. I typically put in on before I go to sleep so I don’t know if other people would smell it on you if it was used during the day when you’re with other people. I suspect other people would smell it on you though

I was looking for something stronger then a human dosage strength to rub on my tummy tuck area. This product is no more or no less then the Freeze brand. But definitely not horse strength.

As a child I remember my mom used this Liniment on her family I didn’t like the smell but it does work I used it on my knees believe it or not I use it every day now on whatever aches
