Comfort, style and support
I have loved wearing these shoes, they are comfortable and also stylish enough for church or an evening out.It fits true to size and give support for all day wear. They held up really well and adds a pop of print to neutral outfit. It is a very versatile wear. They are at a great price point and durable.

Almost Perfect!
I was pleasantly surprised by my initial try-on of these shoes: comfortable, lightweight, nice-looking. Adding a thin insole in one shoe took care of the half-a-size difference, but with my second trial period (walking inside the house), I noticed that one of my big toes was uncomfortably rubbing where the toe tapered. Funnily, the larger foot did not have that problem, so perhaps it was caused by the addition of the insole. This is an on-going problem for me. I seem to need a wider toe box. In any case, these weren't going to work for me so I returned them. The elastic gore across the top of the foot was comfortable for my low instep. Overall, I was very impressed by the fit & comfort of the shoe, and at the sale price they would have been a super deal.

Comfortable
Very comfortable. I normally would go for a 7 wide if it was offered and I have a high arch. But I got a 7.5 medium and they fit fine. Nice looking too.

Worth every penny
I previously found a pair of these shoes at a Clarke's Outlet in Burgundy. Loved & bought and wanted Black so I looked on Amazon and there they were. I love Clarkes quality and comfort. I love Suede. Perfect combo and very comfortable. Not super dressy but not a sport shoe either. Something to wear with your slacks especially if you'll be walking or standing.

Third pair!
I developed plantar fasciitis over 40 years ago. As a nurse it was incredibly urgent to find shoes that could abate that. Easy Spirit corrected the problem immediately but I needed additional shoes for pleasure and work. That's when I discovered Clarks. All of the shoes were solid rubber heels at just the right height to maintain my foot away from the PF. Their shoes last a long time which is great and they are an instant fit when you get them. I have ordered in medium width and totally comfortable. I have several Clark's but this particular shoe can be worn for work and pleasure. Just pay close attention to the heels if you have an issue with PF. Make sure your heel is elevated maybe no more than an inch and a half. Great buy for the price!

Runs very narrow, but the wide is too wide!
Tres frustrating!I am giving up and going to the shoe store. This is the fourth pair of Clark's I have ordered and none of them fit correctly.I started out with a pair of lace-up oxfords. The 7 wide was too small both in width and length. So, I ordered a 7.5 wide and I was flopping out of it (although it felt very comfortable). I thought maybe an insert would help but they were simply too large. Then, I thought, maybe a loafer would be a bit wider by nature since it doesn't have lacing. So I ordered this shoe in a 7 wide. Well, it is also too large! So, I ordered it again in a 7 regular - - too tight. I give up. I can't tell if inconsistent sizing is the issue or just that my feet are not compatible with Clark's. I would suggest ordering more than one pair rather than the four individual orders I placed. The shoes themselves are nice. The loafer is a bit plain, but Clark's actually makes some variations on this particular shoe that have a bit more style. I am quite jealous of everyone who got them to work for their feet because they seem great for work. I live in Boston and I want an all-purpose shoe that can be worn in light rain, light snow without my feet being freszing or wet. They also need to look professional and not like sneakers. The black sole these is great, nice and grippy for all weather.

Super Cute and Super Comfortable
I have what I would term "bad feet" (bunions and flat feet, not to mention LARGE) so finding comfortable but stylish shoes that I can wear to work (and afford!) is always a challenge. Clarks has been a go-to for a while. What I love about these shoes is that they are comfortable out of the box, true to size, and very professional. A patent leather finish has come to be my preference for shoes that can dress up or dress down and look good with both slacks and a skirt/dress. This burgundy croc patent leather is just beautiful and the cut of the shoe is kind to my bunions. So many loafers have an uncomfortable seam right at the ball of the foot, or are cut too low, but these are perfect. The uppers are stiff but that that is my preference because with flat feet, shoes that stretch tend to "spread" and quickly look sloppy and unprofessional. I can tell these will look good even as they break in further. I did bend down the back of the heel a few times to loosen it up a bit because I could tell it was a bit too stiff, but once I did that, the fit was perfect. Price is great too!
