Q: Will a small 2 gallon Craftsman evolve work?

Assuming the pressure of the 2 gallon will get high enough for the manufacturers recommendation, it should work just fine. I use a craftsman pancake compressor.

Q: Can this be used with sausage tube caulking, is there an end piece nozzle available?......works great with regular tubes

Mine did not come with a nozzle, don't know where you could get 1,except maybe where you buy the sausage tube caulking.

Q: How heavy is this? What is the weight?

Without going out to weigh mine, the product page says it weighs 2.4 pounds. Add in the weight of the actual caulk material (seems to range between 0.5 to 2 pounds), plus the weight/drag of the hose, I can see it weighing 4 to 6 pounds. Keep in mind a standard manual caulk gun weighs 1 to 1.5 pounds. I highly recommend this product for the following reason: * Saves time - the flow is even, you're not starting/stopping to try to get an even flow while squeezing a pump handle. * Saves your hand - squeezing the pump handle on a manual gun gets pretty tiring. * Saves caulk in two ways: (1) when you let off the trigger, the air gun releases the air pressure - no oozing. (2) the even flow/dispensing means less caulk on your finger/tool when you smooth the results.

Q: Has anybody used this for driveway / concrete joint caulking? I don't want to spend $1500 to have some idiot do it for me. I'd rather be that idiot.

Above mentioned caulking gun and swivel attachment. Awesome . I used for caulking entire roof joints. It was cold! Had to keep caulking at correct warm temperature, down in tack room . And if too warm and too much air flow. Look out. Practice and keep air flow low. I would think concrete caulking and correct temp/?getting air flow coordinated. Its one of best tool Ive ever owned, especially being female with bad hand joints.
