Could you use this pillow for home massages without a massage table? Maybe on the floor or bed?

U could. I find myself using 2 cushions on the table because the one that came with the table causes my patients head to drop down too low making them a little uncomfortable, so using 2 was better so it should work on the floor etc.Other issue is that because this was meant for the face slot in the table, if u use it alone, the face cushion will part sideways causing your face to go rt through the cushion. You'll need to tape the ends on the bottom to prevent this from happening. There are some smaller and firmer cushions that don't part so u might consider those. I think Sierra brand was like that but it is not as soft cushiony as this one. People have different preferences so I have various cushions.
