7 O'clock100 GILLÈTTE Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades Made in Russia

I noticed these very blades came with Gillette's Heritage set, which is indicative of the company's confidence in the blade's quality, the same confidence I share, to the extent I purchased two one-hundred-blade packages. As a novice double edge safety razor shaver, my opinion may not carry much weight, but one experienced You Tube shaver did recommend the smoothness that comes with the platinum coating on this blade, especially for novice shavers like myself. This same fellow, reviewing the King Gillette's shaver with the King Gillette's platinum coated blade, (likely this blade with the word 'King' on the blade) said he still prefers blades with the platinum coating for their smoothness.On each blade, the glossy silver lettering on a matt silver background is a great way of emphasising the manufacturer's commitment to quality.

I've tried several blades and decided these are best for me. Derby's are not sharp enough, Feathers are a little too sharp and everything else I tried weren't very smooth. These Gillette Platinum blades are almost as sharp as feathers but give a much smoother shave with less likelihood of cuts and nicks. These are now my go-to blades and buying in this 100 pack is very economical too

First of all this blade is paper thin, maximum you can expect is 2 to 3 shave from it. It not sharp so you won't be getting cuts out of it. It says Gillette platinum made in Russia. But from the quality I doubt it. Any price comparison as I said what you pay you will get that. I will not return it, but I will use a different brand in my next purchase.

I have only been using DE razors for a couple months but as soon as I tried these and had a wonderful shave of both my face and head, I was confident enough with these blades to try to go down south and give the old family jewels a good touch up - not a single nick, anywhere, on any of these areas (using a merkur progress long handle at "2" on the dial.For me, and the way I shave, these things blow Feather razors out of the water.

Hands down best blades I have gotten. Made in Russia. I have used several brands until I got these and these by far are the best.
