Choice Organic Teas Rooibos Red Bush Tea, 16 BAGS (Pack of 1)

When I researched the many health benefits of this tea I immediately got it. I was initially drawn to it's naturally caffeine free nature (not a fan of the decaffeination process). I'm not a huge fan of the taste, but it's just because it's a unique flavor that I've never been exposed to. I know I will find a way to enjoy this more. It's slightly sweet, with a leafy/syrupy (not maple) aftertaste. But there are lots of flavors out there and other flavors can be added. Trying to become more of a tea drinker at this point, and I'm still on the fence on whether or not I'll purchase again.

The box of teas I ordered on Amazon was not sent to me. It was a black box by the same Choice Herbal Tea Rooibox but clearly the flavor was not the same. On the tea box it herb native to South Africa and flavor suggest vanilla and honey and on the black choice box as creamy vanilla only.Misleading on Amazon page very disappointed and it should be stated if boxing has changed. The same thing happened too my friend with this teas I took a chance on ordering too. What a mistake.

This tea is different than anything I've ever tried but it has a slightly sweet flavor that is perfect for an after-dinner drink.I bought it for my Whole30 Challenge because I read that it was a good substitute during a "sweets craving". I ended up enjoying the flavor a lot and I think I"ll continue drinking it beyond the challenge.

I tried about 4 different times to drink this tea, both steeping it and just letting a bag soak in ice water. Either way I couldn't get passed the unusual taste. I have drank several different teas over the years but this tea has a wild taste I just can't get past. I ended up throwing the rest of the box out, which I have never done. I wanted to drink it for the antioxidant benefits, but I can honestly say that "red tea" is definitely NOT my "cup of tea."

Delicious tea. I like it cold with lemon and little bit of sugar. I have tried several brands and I find the Choice brand to be the best. It has no bad taste or funny smell like the other brands I tried. There are cheaper brands that bring more teabags, but what is the point if after brewing the smell and taste renders it undrinkable. I'll stick with the Choice brand
