Bowjax Inc Bolt Retention Dampener

The kit comes with two dampeners for your arrow retention spring. I only used one and I think it works but I’m not sure because I just can’t tell. They want you to put two of them on the ARS but the rubber pieces gets in the way of the bolts.I’ve tried it out a few days and it does quite down the bow a bit. You don’t hear the “twang” anymore. You just hear the arrow being shot through the bow. I have an Excalibur Bulldog 440 and that thing is loud and proud do any damping system is a “ go” for me.

1. They fit well.2. They seem to slightly lessen the sound. I have not verified a reduction in sound pressure levels with a noise meter.3. Price point vs value is probably prohibitive for most people.

Put a dampener on a crossbow pistol, helped a little. I also have a set on an Excalibur Micro 355, seems to help a little as well.Noise reduction without fps reduction....it's a very small amount, maybe not even enough to notice as the person shooting the bow.

Noticeable noise reduction on a wickedridge warrior G3 crossbow and bolt velocities as checked by chrono or accuracy not affected. Great product

Any little bit helps to reduce noise and vibration. I can't definitively determine if this product decreases sound and vibration.
