This is part of my Kitchen Aid mixer. It went missing from my kitchen. That’s why I bought another one. I don’t have many recipes that need a whisk. But it is a great whisk when you need it. When I bought the mixer, I read the booklet about caring for the mixer & the pieces included. It states that the best care is handwashing. I’ve had it for a long time, so maybe newer models allow for the pieces to be washed in the dishwasher. I’ve continued to hand wash them.
