Maxxis Minion Dhfpl Folding Dual Compound Exo/tr Tyre
With winter coming and a wider rougher trail in mind over the winter months I decided to upgrade from my 21. Menzcal’s to the 2.8 Maxxis. First things first ensure you have a wide enough wheel to support them I’d recommend a 30+ inner rim for a squarer more planted wheel.Straight out of the box these tyres are much heavier, to be expected with all that extra rubber. The tyres themselves are well made, well finished, soft compound with a great tread pattern that can easily cut through mud and slush as well as allowing you both a smoother and more planet ride.

Mah....come qualita su circuiti xc va benissimo....ma su quelli piu duri con sassi e pietre forse no,alla prima uscita seria ho strappato il copertone in 2 punti mentre ero in discesa su un terreno abbastanza scassato con sassi e pietre sporgenti a buona velocità...magari passando ao 60 tpi risulta piu resistente...speriamo

Tolles Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. die Qualität passt. Oft im Einzelhandel nur unter Vorbestellung zu kaufen. Die Anlieferung und die Lieferzeit beträgt nur ein bis zwei Tage, ist absolut in Ordnung. Werde meine Reifen wieder so kaufen. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Great tire for winter riding!
Decided to replace my Maxxis Recon+ 27.5x2.8s with the Minions and didn't regret it. Super grippy on the climbs and that's exactly what i wanted. First ride today and loved them. As a bonus they came a day early. Only negative is that shipping details were never updated so i couldn't track them. Whether that was from Canada Post or TBS Bike Parts. Regardless, great tire. I'll buy from these guys again.
