COVERGIRL Lash Blast Volume Mascara - 835 Black Brown Waterproof

I honestly can’t believe how good this waterproof mascara is for the price—it easily outperforms some of the high-end ones I’ve tried. The brush is the perfect size, coating every lash without clumping, and it gives me just the right mix of length and volume for an everyday fluttery look. The staying power is incredible. I’ve worn it through sweaty workouts, humid weather, and even a full day at the beach, and it never smudges or flakes. My lashes look just as good at night as they did in the morning, which is rare to find in a budget product. That being said, I do need to use a waterproof makeup remover before washing my face in order to remove this mascara. For such an affordable price, this mascara delivers everything I need: length, volume, and truly all-day wear. It’s proof that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get gorgeous, reliable lashes. A definite drugstore gem!

Shift from black to brown mascara is a game changer for me. For daily use it is a kind of mascara which defines your lashes separates them(the brush), n gives natural look. You will feel u have put on nothing n yet your lashes will rock! Its smudge proof n waterproof. It does not add volume(which i was not looking for, i have long lashes) So the removing part is a bit hard if u use water based products or micellar water, use any oil. I use coconut oil on a cotton pad, keep on the lashes for few seconds n it wipes off easily! I recommend this product.

This is the first waterproof mascara I have used in at least 15 years! It's better than what used to be available and I really like it very much. EXCEPT when it gets on my skin when I'm applying it! The great thing about it is that the wand is so wet with mascara that it doesn't miss a lash when applying; and that is also the bad thing because it does get on my eyelids, etc. However, I've become very adept at removing tiny splotches with a piece of folded toilet tissue, so that won't stop me from buying it again. At the same time, there is a slight amout of clumping for the same reason. I just keep another mascara handy to use that wand to separate lashes that clump. Overall, I'm happy with it!

First off, I accidentally bought the brown one but if im being honest i can even tell if its actually brown, it looks black on my lashes. Anyway this mascara is super good, i have typical flat asian lashes that stick out forward and dont go upwards, this mascara brings my lashes up like their extensions. But its really hard to get off, i have to do a couple rounds of makeup remover to get it fully off. But it lasts all day without smudging, im truly impressed cuz most mascaras dont work w my lashes and never last, this is definitely a keeper :D

First off, I really like the way this mascara goes on--no clumps, no problems. And I like the color (which is brown-black for mine). Not too dark, but dark enough to make the lashes visible. It also seems to improve the length, or the perception of length. As I have short, blond stubs of lashes, this helps a lot. I wear contacts, and spend a lot of time outside and on the water, so some level of waterproof is very necessary if I don't want to look like a truant from clown school. This mascara does that very well. Goes nowhere, never runs. This, however, makes it pretty hard to get off at the end of the day. For years I've used a Garnier micellar water product to simply take off all my makeup. Poof, and gone. Even the waterproof liner and all-day cream shadow. I've had a hard time, though, getting rid of this mascara. No matter what, I tend to wake up in the morning with at least a hint of raccoon-eye. This does not mean I will not use or don't like the mascara at all--but it might be important if you have very sensitive around-the-eye skin or don't actually need this level of "will not move" makeup.

Really waterproof and does make lashes look thicker.

I am beyond shocked of how good this holds on and how amazing the application is. I would've never believed you if you told me a 8$ mascara would save my money and rest of my best lash mascara findings. I have payed over $30 for a mascara and how i regret it. Let’s start off with the actual application is amazing since the bristles are micro separated and are shaped to the eye. Then when you are wiping the messy mascara left on your eyelids or under eyes it can be wiped off incredibly easy. BUT IT NEVER MOVES. As you can see, it survived boyfriend air, pool, AND SHOWER without more than 3 pieces of little mascara “crumbs” coming out and I even slept with it on for 3 days to see how far i could test it and omg it wouldnt had moved if I didnt take it off. By using a oil based type of makeup remover it will come off incredibly easy. I recommend the elf makeup remover balm. If you’re thinking of buying this, DO.

I bought this mascara because I've always had good experiences with Covergirl's waterproof makeup. I wear gas permeable contact lenses and I have allergies, so watery eyes are a constant for me. The mascara leaves raccoon eyes by lunch time, so I'm not thrilled with it's staying power. Even worse, though, is the brush and the "cleaner" inside the tube. The first time I used the mascara, the "cleaner" or squeegee thing inside the tube worked beautifully and the brush had just the right amount of mascara on it to make lovely lashes. However, every time after that, the cleaner inside the tube seemed to have fallen off into the tube, or broken, because there was no resistance pulling the wand out leaving the brush covered in goop. I gently scraped the brush on the top of the tube at the opening, hoping to not waste too much of it, but even then I needed to use a tissue to wipe enough off to make it usable. Now, from all the scraping and wiping, the brush is disintegrating - half the bristles are missing! I accidentally ordered this twice. I thought, "Maybe the first time was a fluke," when I received it and realized my mistake. It wasn't. The second time around was just as bad. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I won't be purchasing this product again.

Other mascaras ive bought before used to come off throughout the day and leave me with a dark under eye but this has by far been my favorite. It lasts all day and comes off smoothly with oil. It also makes my straight lashes stand up really good.

Great product, does smudge or smear or flake when wearing throughout the day. Definitely worth the money!
