I don't remove it; I just press into cut and it does the job.

Q: once you open the bottle do you have to throw it out or can i use it again at a later date?

I USED SOME TO CLOSE A 1'' X 4MM WOUND STILL HAD SOME LEFT USED IT AGAIN 2 DAYS LATER WHEN I BUMPER THE WOUND & REOPENED IT STILL HAVE SOME LEFT WE'LL SEE IF IT KEEPS
