Rit Dye Liquid Dye, 8 fl oz, Navy Blue, 3-Pack

I dyed dining chair covers that were badly stained after many years use. I used all three bottles of dye in my washing machine to get a dark color. It was very easy to use and was happy to see what stains that were left after pre-washing/bleaching were adequately covered by the dye. Very satisfied with the results. There were pale bluestains from the dye left on/in the washer after following cleaning instructions but did not stain any future laundry

It made my white rug purple and the color was gone once I washed the rug. This is a waste of money and the product does not work. I would not recommend it.

same experience as many others here - dyed a wool jacket, came out dark purple. followed the instructions, used really hot water, multiple bottles, even mixed in a bottle of black. while it's not as purplish as some of the pictures i've seen here, it's definitely not navy. maybe it's possible to get the right shade, but really, why should it be this difficult? if i buy navy dye, i expect to get navy dye!

The color came out purple not navy blue. Very dissatisfied with results.

Works exactly the way RIT dye has always worked. Impossible to find in stores.
