Dual Frequency IR Tube IR Receiver Extra IR Receiver for IR (Infrared) Repeater Kit/Remote Control Extender Kits

I was having issues with my ir sensor that it would not work with my cable box, I was sure i would have to buy one of the expensive units to make the cable box work, after several hours on the internet i ran across this item, i figured for the money it would be worth a try, i got it in the mail, plugged it up and it works great !!! I recommend this to anyone having issues with a cable box, you need this dual frequency type, it WILL work! I drilled out a standard wall plate switch and mounted it on the wall for a clean installation.

I tried to use it and it was causing interference in my system. Certain other components stopped working, after this was hooked up.

drop in replacement for an expensive IR receiver that went bad. The instructions had all the specs that made it easy to be sure that it would work before plugging it in.
