Great loader worked great

It is exactly what it says, and works as intended. The only issue I've run into is the lock that holds the plunger so it doesn't just drop the BBs everywhere doesn't hold well and it takes the slightest movement for it to pop open. Simple solution, a small piece of electrical tape with one side folded over so you can easily peel it back and it will hold the lock shut.

This MetalTac airsoft speed loader is one of those small accessories that makes a bigger difference than you expect. With a capacity of around 100 BBs, it saves a lot of time compared with trying to load magazines one BB at a time. The compact size makes it easy to keep in an airsoft bag, pocket, or gear case, and the push loading design is straightforward to use. It is especially handy when you are reloading several magazines and want to get back to playing instead of spending half your time chasing tiny BBs around. For something so simple, it is definitely a useful piece of gear to have available. Just make sure it is compatible with the magazines you are using. Nobody goes to an airsoft game because they enjoy manually feeding BBs into a magazine. This little loader handles the boring part so you can get back to the fun part.

Ok two things to start off; I've only had it for a day, and this is my first speed loader so I don't have anything to compare it too. First impressions though, I'm not real impressed with this thing. Obviously this one is pretty cheap so maybe that's the main problem, it could also be the clip I'm trying to use it with, I have a Double Eagle M21 1911. I've modified the little adapter some to fit tightly on top of the mag and after some trial and error it is almost working like I had hoped, but the overall construction is really quite flimsy. The .2 gram bbs I'm using jam up inside the hopper often, so it's not really very speedy, and if you try to shove then out with some force in the plunger (which flexes as lot, be careful not to snap it off) the whole thing actually starts to separate a bit at the seems because there's only two tiny screws down the middle holding it together! I imagine if you had something like a high cap mag that you pretty much just dump the bbs into then this would work much better for you, without any resistance in front of the pellets I'm sure the plunger wouldn't feel so sketchy and plastic wouldn't be forcing itself apart either. I'm going to stick with it and make it work, but I might recommend shopping around a bit more before getting this one for yourself.

This is a great product. If you don't know how it works, it is like a spring loaded syringe for loading BBs into an airsoft gun magazine. You fill the reservoir with BBs, line up the hole on the bottom of the loader with the hole in your magazine and push the plunger down. Usually 4 or 5 BBs are loaded for every push. I fill 25-round pistol magazines in about 2 seconds, instead of pushing 25 BBs in one-by-one. When you are done loading, turn the loader upside-down so the BBs fall to the top of the loader, push the plunger in and push the lock button to lock the plunger inside the loader so it doesn't get broken off during play. You can find speed loaders that hold more BBs but these 90 - 120 round loaders are the perfect size for carrying in pistol magazine pouches. I ordered 15 of these for myself and some friends. Including the shipping cost, they ended up costing $1.90 each. They are $5 at a local sporting goods store and that is the best price I've found them for other than here. I would also like to comment on a few things I have read in other reviews here to try to help clear up some misconceptions. * There are many comment about these being cheap plastic. That is true, but I own several other brands of these speed loaders and they are all just as cheaply made. These are not any more cheaply made than any other speed loader you will find. I have been using these speed loaders for almost a year now and none of mine have broken. * You will see these speed loaders advertised as 120 or 90 round speed loaders. 120 and 90 round speed loaders are the same size and hold the same number of BBs. The last marking on the speed loader is the 90 BB marker line, but if you fill the loader to the top it holds about 120 BBs. * They are designed to be used with pretty much any airsoft magazine (rifle, pistol, shotgun, etc.). It may be easier to line up the loaders hole with some magazines, but with just using it for a little while you will be able to fill pretty much any magazine without losing BBs. I used my loader for loading 25-round pistol magazines for 8 months before I bought a shotgun. The shotgun magazine lines up easier but I do the pistol magazines in seconds with not problem and no lost BBs.

It's not bad, it works, but not perfectly, I have had some trouble getting the BBs to go into the mags a few times and a few times where the mechanics inside jam up a little and it can sometimes eject BBs before they go into a magazine. But beyond that, it's far far superior to jamming 6mm spheres one at a time into a magazine with a heavy spring and will save you fingers and time. The little tip comes separate from the loader and only slips on over the end the BBs come out of but it doesn't stay on too well, relying on a pair of plastic hooks that look prone to breakage. I solved this by super gluing it on and it seems to work just fine all the same I would caution you to be careful where you apply it and to not use too much as you could end up jamming the opening or the insides up and ruining it. It's easy to load with a little flip open door at the bottom near the plunger, just flip it open and pour them in and you're set to go. A neat little feature is the ability to lock the plunger down keeping it safe, the mechanism on mine is a bit loose and can pop out accidentally but it's never really been an issue as it fits perfectly into one of my pistol mag pouches even with the tip permanently glued on. All in all it's a good cheap buy, it's under ten bucks and it will quickly earn a place in your heart as one of your "Do not forget" pieces of gear, if you're a pistol enthusiast or just have terrible aim, this little gadget will help cut back on the tedious task of thumbing BBs into a tiny tiny opening.

This speed loader works great and does exactly what it’s supposed to. It fits perfectly into a magazine holder pocket and is really easy to use. Funny story though, CBSA actually stopped my package when it was shipped because they thought it was a gun magazine 😂. Honestly, I can see why because it looks pretty convincing and fits perfectly in a mag pouch. Once I got it, it ended up being exactly what I needed and works great. Definitely a handy little speed loader to have.

I ordered the wrong model speedloader. This one is for Airsoft BBs and I needed for metal BBs. I did like the principle so I ordered for the proper model afterwards.

Saves the trouble of reloading magazines by hand.

It's a speedloader, it works as intended, though i have handled ones that felt a little more "solid."
