Review: Pleasantly surpised - I got a Medium, I have small feet so I'm glad the M fit and wasn't too loose or tight. It was a snug fit. These helped a lot! I have been learning pole dancing for a few months and have been struggling with climbing due to the pain on my foot. This gave the top of my foot enough protection that I wasn't so distracted by the pain I could focus on my technique. I did still feel the pressure of the pole but I was not in as much pain as I usually am. They also add some grip for me to not consistently slide down.

A: It's like that material used for raincoats. It's not actually sticky if you touch it, but it grips the pole extremely well. Almost TOO well. Oh! I found the name, its shiny PVC material. =]

Perfect sizing - although a little loose but they work and stay up when working out on the pole - yes I would recommend if you need protection on your feet and ankles from bruising - while it does not stop the bruising it sure does take a little sting out from the friction etc while on the pole
