Baking my cakes are like a hit or miss thing, sometimes they dome up, sometimes they are flat, sometimes they crack in the middle or sometimes they are flat like a plain field. Then I saw a baker in Youtube recommended this as a "secret" tool for bakers and it works wonder! I already tried this on several cakes and they always ends up flat at the top and the sides are evenly colored (not brown all over)! It will take a while to get use on how to insert and cinch it up (I am still getting used to it) but worth the effort. Super recommended.

These little strips are amazing, I have been making cakes for thirty years and now Iam making a 12 inch carrot cake for my sons wedding. I want it to be perfect and used these strips And the most perfect cake I have ever baked came out, flat top (no cutting the dome off leaving crumbs) perfectly cooked (i gave it 15 more mins in the oven).I will never bake a cake again without these bake even strips again, wish I had known about them years ago, it would have saved many disasters. Le mie torte a strati vengono fuori perfette senza bisogno di dover tagliare via i bordi che prima mi uscivano sempre duri. Unica accortezza: difficile da usare con tortiere a cerniera, meglio quelle senza.

Les bandes ont l'effet escompté : les gâteaux lèvent uniformément et ne craquellent quasiment plus ! Super outil. Bon à savoir : elles fonctionnent sur des moules 27cm, mais c'est vraiment le max possible !
