Update on my previous review - NOW STOPPED WORKING
Best thing - the box it came in, very nice. Worse thing - having to buy a magnifying glass to read the instructions, going for the prize for the worlds smallest writing!More seriously, the mouse itself is what it is. Everything works but I have no faith it will last very long. I will use as a backup and buy another from a more dependable manufacturer. Lesson learnt!UPDATE - This rubbish has now completely stopped working, either with the dongle or on Bluetooth. Shame because it was ok when working but there's no way I'm buying one every month. If you need any sort of reliability I suggest strongly not going anywhere near this product!!I wish Amazon allowed zero stars.

Great connectivity at the price, some design faults
I bought this to game with, having already bought the grey version last year to work with. I really like the connectivity options for the price. The mouse itself is very light and I was initially surprised at how light it is (87g or so) - but I've been using one of these for the last 12 months and haven't had any issues. It does have a power saving mode and needs to be woken up every now and then - though i haven't tested if this causes issues while gaming. The big drawback with this latest black version is the on/off switch protrudes slightly so you can flick it on and off - but its a fraction too long and touches the desk/mousemat as well as the four feet. The four stuck on feet weren't quite centred where they needed to be, so they dragged slightly. It wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it was irritating after 60 seconds, so would be unbearable for any length of time. The buttons all click nice and quietly enough, and the scroll is soft and quiet too. The side forward/back buttons click a little louder than the others and there's a bit of springy give in them before they click - though I've found that means they're forgiving and don't register a click if I accidentally touch them.

A good value Bluetooth mouse
Brilliant mouse, easy to pair and doesn’t ever lose connection, goes to sleep sometimes to save battery but a simple click wakes it back up instantly. Battery lasts me around 1.5 weeks and I wouldn’t say I’m a heavy user, so not too bad.Buttons are silent apart from the scroll and side buttons, not a massive deal in my opinion.Could be improved by somehow warning the user before the battery is about to die, as it can’t be used whilst charging. But for it’s price, I can’t really complain.

Surprisingly good.
This is used mostly for general text, browsing and some CAD and drawing. It is comfortable to use and is larger than I expected. It was easy to connect over Bluetooth and the connection is stable with no appreciable delay or lag. Battery life is weeks rather than months, but it can be used when charging over USB with very little inconvenience, much less than trying to find a new AA battery. The side buttons can be pressed inadvertently at first, but it becomes a natural feel with a little use. Xmouse will map these buttons to almost any key combination. I find cntrl and shift is useful for zooming and side scrolling text, tables and images etc using the wheel.
