I bought it to fix something and it work just fine!

I was pretty sure that these things would work purely due to their design. However, I was not prepared for the appearance of what I think is some form of demon in my bathroom. I wiggled this thing down into the bath plug hole and pulled and am pretty sure that I dragged the underworld up here too - sorry about that.

I live with my girlfriend and 2 daughters so you can imagine the amount of hair about. I was sick of having a shower and ending up standing in half a bath full of water as it wasn’t draining properly. I’d tried unblocker gels and foams but nothing worked...until this. The size of the clump of hair this pulled up through the plug would only be surpassed if they raised the titanic. As the clump appeared out of the plough ole like something out of The Thing, the smell and look of it made finishing the job an insurmountable challenge so the girlfriend had to be roped in. She was disgusted, it was hilarious...5 stars.

I bought this drain unblocker because it was the cheapest one. The sink in my bathroom has been slow to drain for over a year and in the past few days, it won't drain at all and I've had to scoop out the water. I've spent a fortune on chemical drain unblockers, which at best offered temporary relief and at worst did absolutely nothing.I bought this product yesterday. It arrived less than 24 hours later, I didn't even think about needing to find a wire that would fit past the pop-up plug in the sink, and it wasn't a problem because this product had 5 different sizes.I had 5 minutes spare between zoom meetings and I thought I'd try it out - not only was I able to completely unplug the bathroom sink in this time, but I tried a different sized wire and also managed to pull out (a disgusting and deeply lodged) ball of hair from the shower plug as well.This product is fantastic and I would definitely recommend. The only potential negative is that if you are planning on working on multiple drains maybe get 2 packs, the product is plastic for flexibility, but on tough clogs pulling it out of the drain did bend back some of the plastic spikes, but for a one and done product, it was cheaper than all the best chemical unblockers and I still have 3 wires left for the future!

Seriously DONT BOTHER!! I’m writing this on the floor of my bathroom after removing the bath panel (which seemed to be welded onto the bath) and then removing the bath trap to release the piece of this ‘device’ which had snapped off whilst trying to pull it up through the plug hole. Not only did it break inside the pipe, I’m now left with the cost of having to replace a bath panel and a screwdriver which snapped whilst trying to remove the bath panel screws. Don’t waste your money!
