Q: Does this have parabens?

As Karen L. noted, yes. I checked my newer bottles to see if they changed the formula, but they did not, as of my most recent supply. I checked the ingredients of CeraVe cleanser, and that also has parabens. If you need to avoid parabens you might try a mild bar soap, such as Vanicream cleansing bar or Cetaphil Gentle cleansing bar, neither of which have parabens.

Ingredients : Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben.

Q: Can you please confirm that you can use this product as normal "hand soap" also?

I use this product to wash my face, and also sometimes to wash my body in the shower. However, I don't see why it could not be used as regular hand soap a lso, especially if your hands have dry skin.
