首と腰のヘルニア持ち、ストレートネックで坐骨神経痛と、ひどくヘルニアが出て後は片脚は感覚が鈍いです。あちこち鉄板のようにガッチガチ。筋膜リリースは気になって、雑誌見ながら真似したら効果はあるけれど、筋肉痛に。何より可動域が急激に狭くなっており、自分じゃそこに手を伸ばすのが大変というジレンマ。深刺しの鍼だと一発でポイントまで行くけれど、腫れと、休みの日に打つとその後飲酒も出来ない。時間も取れず、マッサージグッズはいつも気にかけています。フォームローラーも、あちこちで見かけ気になっていましたが大きく見えて、あのサイズ。効果なかったら邪魔になりそうと、手出しせずにいました。電動のもあるけど、バイブの振動ぐらいじゃ痒くなるだけで、自分には勝てまいと。が、誤りでした。これ、結構がっぷりと対決してくれます。不要な振動はなく、スッキリ軽い。突起もまろやかですが、しっかりと圧がかけられます。長さがあるので、テニスボール状の奴より広い範囲が伸びる。ストレッチ程度どころか、かなりハードに効く。あちこちで見る、転がして運動には、自分の状況が状況なのと、筋力なくて及びません。簡単に動けない、難しい。でもそっと、痛みのある腿裏とかを乗せるとググッと押してきていいマッサージ。大きい分膝を曲げる等で、圧の調整が出来ます。小さいやつのめり込みに比べるとマイルド。出来ることを出来るだけで、ストレッチと指圧でうっとり。気になる本体の大きさですが、立てりゃいいのです。うん。ゴロゴロ転がせるくらいになる日を夢見て継続中です。

I was introduced to Foam Core Rollers several years back and I have several. I have a RumbleRoller but I like this one MUCH better. The outside foam has a little more give which works better for me than the harder surface of the other. I have several in different sizes and use them regularly so there's much less pain when I try something new. There are a ton of videos on YouTube on how to use them but I haven't found anything better for stretching out sore spots or loosening tight hips, thighs or glutes but I also use it on my shoulders and back. And don't miss trying it on your feet! Look some videos up and if you are on the fence between this one and the other, take this one. Better by far!

筋膜リリースに使えるローラー他のローラーと比較すると圧倒的に軽いです。しっかりしている重さが欲しい場合にはこちらではないほうが良いかも。

There are so many great things about this foam roller. To begin, it’s compact in size. This is wonderful because it fits right in my gym bag. I can now bring this on camping trips that require strenuous hikes. The second awesome thing about this product is that it’s covered in little bobbled nodes that give it some texture which really helps massage my muscles. The texture really helps promote blood flow and helps soothe my sore, over extended, muscles. I’m someone who is always extremely sore after working out and this has been such a great companion for that. The last thing that I love is how firm it feels. The product feels extremely sturdy and like it may hold up for a long time. I’ve had foam rollers fall apart after extended use and this doesn't seem like something that will happen. The extended and final bonus is that it’s nice to look at versus many of the obnoxiously neon foam rollers you will see on the market.

商品概観は、硬質樹脂製の筒に、クッション性のあるEVA樹脂を纏わせてある感じで、おそらく軽さからみて中身は中空かと思われますが、側面は閉じられています。外観形状は、若干シルバーメタリック調の迷彩柄で、概ね男性向けと感じるデザインですが、サイズやクッション性は、中肉中背の成人なら性別年齢は問わずに「ゴロゴロ」と利用出来る感じです。その使用感は、体に当てると大味な『青竹踏み』みたいな刺激があり、肉量の多い太腿や腰に当てると、明確にマッサージ効果を実感出来て心地良いです。また、仰向き状態で背中や腰に当てると『背伸び座椅子』みたいな感覚で、体を伸ばせられる用途もあり、なかなかの娯楽性もあります。一方で、健康器具としての効果は公言出来る程は確証が持てる使用感では無く、使っている最中は気持ち良く楽しめますが、その事が後日の疲労回復向上に繋がるかは未知数であり、通常のアフター・ストレッチの併用が望ましいです。販売元は、実質的に日本向け【アディダス】ブランド代理店を務められている【プロアバンセ】で、製造は同種製品製造を比較的得意とされている台湾となっています。総じて、体に当てて「ゴロゴロ」したり、デスクの下に忍ばせて「踏み踏み」しているだけでも心地良い、単純構造のマッサージローラーと言え、一家に一本転がしておけば結構楽しめる物とも感じましたので、☆×5とします。
