Measure and don't blame the product if you don't. Wind chimes are measured by hanging distance; from the hook to the bottom of the sail. Sometimes sellers will tell you how long the tubes are as well, but not always. This chime at 30 inches, can be considered in the medium range. Tubes are approximately 10", 11", 12", 12.5", and 13".I have several wind chimes - some very expensive. This rates right up there. Materials are certainly quality for the price and durable to last for many years. But the best part of all is the sentiment. Like one other said - "decided to send instead of flowers." Yes, do. It will be a treasure for a forever memory. This is my first chime with words on the tubes and I love the concept; touched by the wind and forever moving, the way words of sorrow should be. The chimes are perfectly tuned and sound beautiful when they are blowing in the breeze. They are a nice tranquil addition to any back yard.

I purchased two of these recently, both for friends who lost their mothers, in lieu of sending flowers I sent this wind chime. I did not take them out of their box myself but they both really liked them. My only disappointment, and I guess I didn't think it through, was that the actual chime pieces are shorter than I expected. The 30 inches measures from the top of the hanger to the bottom of the ringer so take that into consideration when you see size mentioned

I'm disappointed - but not at the unit, it works fine, but at my ignorance in not ordering a smaller one. Where I have it hung, it takes a hurricane-force wind to get even a little chime out of it. I had a smaller one in the same location and it chimed at even the slightest breeze - this one is too hefty to chime in less than a gale force wind.

I saw some of these chimes while walking through the mall and I loved them. Beautiful sound. the 44 inch was priced at 79.99 which was too much money so I was happy to have found them online for a much better price. so far I have bought 8 of them of different sizes and they all sound so wonderful.Thanks for the great price.

I recently purchased this for a newlywed friend who's husband passed away. They spent a lot of time outdoors and working in their yard so I wanted her to have something symbolic by which to remember him. They planted a tree in his honor and this wind chime will hang in that tree.

I give as a remembrance gift to those who’ve lost loved ones instead of flowers.

I got a set when my mother passed away from my sister-in-law. The minute I opened them up i cried. I said i could always remember my mother & when they play it is my mother singing. they are well made & beautiful. I am now giving them instead of flowers. Everyone who has gotten one says they love it.
