Rockford Fosgate Prime R152-S 5.25” 2-Way Component Speaker System

I bought these at around 50% off of my local car audio store. They (2 sets) are currently in my 92 Cherokee, and they sound GREAT! they don't really get as loud as my 6.5" infinity kappas in my truck, but thats expected, being 1.25" smaller But balanced treble, and mids (bass in the sub) without being overly high in treble (mostly). Solid hits without distortion while being pushed by a 200W 4 channel (they can handle more).

If you appreciate good music and want to hear it exactly as it was recorded, the Rockford Fosgate Component series is definitely the way to go. With separate woofers, tweeters and crossover network, you won't miss anything, from the lowest lows, mid's and the really high notes. They sound Great with an amp or if you're on a budget, you can simply add these to your factory unit ad be pleasantly surprised at the result. I've had Alpine, Polk, Infinity and many others; and while they're all good, I believe the Rockford Fosgate line of speakers deliver the best sound for the price. Try 'em. You won't be disappointed!

Speakers were easy to install, they sound crisp and am overall really pleased with them. The Kenwood deck I installed just before the speakers can over power them but I think I just need to disribute the signal better as I only have the pair of component speakers up front, and some 5 1/2 inch mids in the back doors so far. I don't really know anything about car audio so I'll just have to figure it out one of these days, as far as these speakers go they are an upgrade from the factory paper speakers and I definitely hear more out of them than even with headphones. I am hearing detail in the music I listen to that I've never heard before.

I bought these speakers for my son and he says they have a nice sound and were easy to install.

Sounds great, I have it in my 1968 Mustang

One of the tweeter didn't work after I installed them, as it turns outs the crimped entirely over the insulation of the wire leaving no contact. I cut and re-terminated it and it worked fine. That shouldn't have passed QC... They sound good and are definitely am upgrade form stock. but If I were to do it again I'd spend a little more and buy Alpine Type-S.

Die Lautsprecher klingen super. Da kann man nicht meckert. So bin ich es von Rockford Fosgate gewohnt. Allerdings sind die Kabel absolut schlecht verarbeitet. Ein Kontakt ist schon vor der Montage abgebrochen und nach der Installation hat der rechte Kanal nicht funktioniert. Auch hier war bereits die Litze durchtrennt, der Steckkontakt war jedoch noch verbunden. Hier müssen auf jeden Fall neue Stecker verpresst werden, bevor man diese Kabel verbaut.

Amazing Quality Speakers. Installed in my Motorcycle and huge upgrade of clarity and sound. Majority of people who expect “massive” changes don’t understand that you need an amp upgrade to increase power output. If your looking for a definite upgrade in quality of sound these are amazing for the price range!
