Great book
Had kept my son (12) very busy trying out new tricks on us.

Ideal for Any apprentice Magician
I bought this book when I first started to learn magic, and I've used it as a refrence ever since! The style is perfect for anybody just starting out because its easy to follow and isn't throwing info at you like some other books. Jake shows you exactly how each trick is performed from both magician and audience perspective which is really handy when learning the illusion to see how its suppose to look from different angles.

Nice trendy book
The magic tricks with cards hasn’t been tried yet as it was a Christmas present for my nephew who is 12 but after flicking through the instructions seem easy enough to follow and seem “cool” for an older child.

Tricks are quite complicated for a child (age 10)
The author describes this book as the one he wishes he had as a child, and I think that's a fair description. If the kid is really into magic then it would be OK, but for someone who's shown a passing interest in magic the tricks are difficult and take a lot of practice. Plus there are some magic techniques which are mentioned and included in the glossary, but I couldn't see where it explains how to do them.
