I have porphyria, which means even a few minutes of sun exposure is painful and will eventually cause blisters or hives. Before I found these, I would drape a lightweight baby blanket over my upper body while in the car. I wasn’t happy with that, since it looked like I was nursing a baby in the car. And the blanket didn’t help when I got out of the car, while walking to the store or wherever I was headed.Now I wear these sun sleeves whenever I leave the house during the day. They cover my hands to the knuckles, and my arms all the way up to where my shirt’s short sleeves hit. No skin exposed! I’ve had a few people ask if the sleeves are a fashion statement or something else, which gets tiresome, but better to answer annoying questions than to burn and blister in the sun.I love that these are a rayon knit jersey, it means they’re very soft. They only have one seam down the side of the hand and arm.The first few pairs I bought were a lesser quality. The top and bottom edges were raw serged, no proper finishing. It meant there were a lot of loose threads and unraveling seams to deal with. I recently bought another few sets and they are now MUCH higher quality, with properly hemmed edges. The thumb hole is still raw serged, but no issues thus far with threads unraveling or fraying.These really are a game changer for me. I wish they had more colors to coordinate with my wardrobe, but that’s a minor complaint. I usually wear the heather gray, or the light peachy pink, which is fairly close to my skin tone. The light tan is pretty close in color from a distance, too.Note: The dark gray absorbs heat, so in the summer, they get way too hot. I assume black and other very dark colors would be the same. If you’re wearing them for sun protection, stick with the lighter colors.Five stars, highly recommended!

I work overnight and it gets a little cold in the building. These are perfect! They keep me warm but they also keep me cool with a little bit of compression. They are not too tight and they do not fall down. They are extremely breathable and extremely comfortable. Instead of having to take my jacket on and off, I just pulled these up when I am cold and then push them down when I no longer need them. Super convenient! Colors are nice but it would be awesome if they came in purple pink yellow and all kinds of different colors other than just basic blues and grays.

The material is soft, lightweight, and it’s not pilling. It does slide down my arm so I am taking a star away but overall it’s a decent product.

Sun damage from the driver's window has turned my left arm into a mud puddle of brown liver spots. The dermatologist gave me a compounded bleach cream that really helped but said it would all be undone if I didn't cover the arm and hand. These sleeves are wonderful! They truly are soft, just stretchy enough for even a larger woman's arm. Long enough to come up almost to the shoulder, and the thumb hole keeps these down securely to cover the back of my hand, too. I highly recommend and don't think you will be disappointed.

2021 update. It was time to order new gloves and I am disappointed. They are basically the same size but even while sitting and reading the top of the gloves slide down. I don't have to stretch them to put them on so being too small is not the reason. I think the material is slightly different.I just got these and they are for a slim arm. My hand is 7.5 inches at the knuckles, 9.5 inches at the top of forearm, and 10.5 inches at the biceps and the glove is perfect in width. It is stretchy material, so it will cover a larger arm about an inch larger comfortably. The thumb hole is a bit tight and would be much more comfortable 1/4th inch bigger, but it isn't uncomfortable after the gloves are on for a few minutes. I have to fold it over or it goes to my armpit. They are comfortable and keep the breeze or cool air off your skin.Update 9/2015. Now it is in between cold and warm weather, so I wore 2 pair of these at the same time. Perfect weight for cool but not cold air. And since they are lightweight for summer, the 2 pair were the perfect weight for fall temps and did not look bulky when I pulled them down from full arm to wrist length.

Absolutely perfect for my cosplay costume!!! The fabric is very soft and stretchy.

I like pretty much everything about these arm sleeves. They add just a touch of warmth when you need it & don't seem to get hot when you don't. I do consider myself a an average build but in this case may have benefited from ordering a smaller size. They stayed up ok when I first put them on but then started to slip down. It wasn't anything I wasn't able to fix with a black hair tie. But I'm not sure how I feel about using rubber bands when wearing them. Otherwise I really like how they look & feel.

To give some idea about my arms I weigh 132 lbs., I'm over 50 & have bat wing arms. I got these because I live in a warmer climate of the U.S & I own more short sleeves than long & wanted something to keep the chill off my arms. The length on these are great they come 3/4 of the way up my arm (about mid bicep) but...they are loose even for my arms & slide down right away. I ended up making them smaller about 2 inches & now they don't slide down my arms. I probably wouldn't purchase again only because I had to modify them to get a better fit.

These are just what I expected. They are light, easy to wash and work great for running. I gave a 4 as I It would be nice to be able to purchase a slightly longer version thought they work fine.

It's stretchy, and fits quite well !A little itchy, but it's mostly fine
