I purchased these after being disappointed with several other report covers from popular office supply stores. These Smead report covers are the perfect size! Being that I needed report covers for job portfolios, holepunching documents was not an option (looks very unprofessional). Therefore, I needed report covers that allowed for added bulk & width of sheet protectors. These Smead folders allow a good amount of documents in sheet protectors to fit comfortably (I have 24 pages in sheet protectors, and could easily fit a few more if needed) that are held together with typical 3-prong aluminum fasteners. But what made the difference for me was the extended right edge of the folder. With other folders, my pages began sticking out on the right side (looking pretty unprofessional). But with these Smead folders, that extra width took care of this issue easily (see photos). The pocket and slits for brochure & business card on the back cover are a great bonus. Very satisfied with my purchase & highly recommend these!

Good quality and works great for organizing and/or displaying your various paper projects, whether writing, pictures, etc.. I used them for putting together a couple of exercise guides/booklets AND I was able to fit more paper than I thought I could in them.

I made a copy of my husband's autobiography for each of our children. These covers worked well for my purpose.

I cannot use the product because it was mangled in transit. This is one of a half dozen things I have had to toss out because they arrived in bags. YES, I know I can send it back, but that costs me money and, worse, inconvenience and time that I am tired of giving to Amazon.The product would have been suitable for distributing reports--not elegant, but usable--if each item could lie flat. Now, my purchase and its delivery envelope is just more plastic waste choking the planet.

I found these covers to be of great quality! The feel of the plastic and the construction were much better than report covers I found at a major office supply store near me. I highly recommend using these with Office Depot's insertable extra wide index dividers (if you need to organize your materials in that fashion) and Avery heavy-weight protective sheet covers. These report covers have a space inside the back cover for brochures, business cards, and additional pages. I used them to put together professional portfolios while job hunting.
