These are great to cut fruit and potatoes like grandmas and grandpas did. One hand, cut through the fruit to the thumb. Super sharp but small enough to handle I haven't been cut. I definitely recommend these!

When shopping for some small paring knives to peel fruit I noticed that many reviews complained of dull purchases. I eliminated those from my "Maybe" list and then spotted these with the description, I believe, noting sharpness. A look at the pictures seemed to appear that they were well honed, not a stamped sheet metal edge, so I took a chance and ordered a set of three. Yes, they are quite sharp. I use them most frequently to peel oranges, section apples, and section pears and they work well. They've held up in the top rack of my automatic dish washer with no discolored blades or plastic handle damage. So at a really low price they have performed well.

These little knives are very sharp and work well for cutting small items. My only negative is that they are starting to rust already.

Great knives, just keep in mind they are very sharp. If these become dull, I will certainly purchase them again.

I bought a set of these knives on my honeymoon in 1971. I am so excited to find a replacement. After 52 years of use, they are still as sharp as they were in 1971. I wouldn't have had to replace my original knives except that I left them in a jar of pickles, and the acid pitted the blades. These knives are a great replacement. I'm so excited to have found them. I've been searching for them for a long time. The blade handle fits easily in my hand. They don't slice my thumb when I'm slicing strawberries. This is a great little knife.

What I wanted in a cheap, sharp, small paring knife. Really like mine.
