Perfect for my cosplay! I have a pretty small head, so it is a smidgen large looking proportionally, but it works perfect for the nuka cola girl cosplay I am working on. this would also be just the right size for a space ranger (buzz lightyear) suit, so I definitely plan on getting at least one more of these domes.a custom cut 8.5" diameter opening was actually perfect for my needs, my head measures 22" circumference at the largest. The rim of the hole doesn't even make contact with the back of my head, ears, or tip of my nose when I put the dome on my head; It wasn't too large of an opening either. if you have a larger than average head, definitely consider using a larger dome and a slightly larger custom opening, but this is the perfect size for a typical mysterio, space ranger, etc cosplay for average or smaller sized heads.

Terrific globe only one issue, the 5.25" neckless opening interior lip is to thick. I had to file it down so that the clamps on the lamp would fit over it. I would purchase another if needed.

These globes replaced ones damaged by hail. Just make sure you measure correctly for a proper fit.

The fit was perfect. The coloring on the globe was even and does not show any thin or heavy spots.
