This and is very good quality and a pretty good replica. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and bought an Albus Dumbledore wand as well. It is made out of some type of metal so you have to be careful if you have active little wizards (as I do) because it will hurt if it hits you. It's covered in a thin plastic and my son has managed to hit it hard enough for the tip to show a tiny bit of metal - I don't think this is a product flaw but shows it does have limitations if used for active play.

I bought this as a prop for a new dnd game role character I was playing. The other players in my group & I were impressed with the nice feel & weight to this wand - definitely not one of those other cheap toy wands. It is decorated with a raised vine & leaf design - I used a few sharpies and colored in those raised places - as the role I'm using the wand with, is a wood elf. The wand also comes nicely presented in a padded & lined box, that keeps the wand stored securely when not in use. It would make a very nice gift for someone that collects Harry Potter related items or for role playing / dnd / magic themes too.

This worked for my purposes, but if you need the craftsmanship level to be a bit high, get it somewhere else. The paint was not well applied/ they did not keep the paint within the lines.

Me and my friends play Dungeons and Dragons together all the time and one of my friends in particular always plays as a wizard so I decided he needed his own magic wand and to purchase this for him this Christmas and he and I were very satisfied with the quality. Pleasantly surprised for the price, thank you very much!

Loveeeddd this wand! I thought it would be like cheap plastic or something close to that, but it was Perfect! Has some weight to it, very smooth, got many complaints on it, i would buy again
