Excellent quality, robust!
I am a tinkerer. I like working with anything that has basic electronics features. I also rebuild and repair electric guitars. I have gone through quite a few soldering irons in the last 30 years. I needed a work station that was well built, robust and simple to use and which allowed me to control the temperature as related to the task. After reviewing the ratings on YouTube on which there quite a few. So I chose Sealody. It was fairly priced and placed well within the competition. When it arrived my first reaction was that there was brick included in the box. It is definitely robust. I quickly put the beast to work. On start-up, I immediately got an S-----E. As instructed in the manual, I shut it down and checked everything. The iron needed a little tightening. Restarted and presto! It heats up fast! The iron is comfortable in my M/L hands. It's about 8" long and light-weight with soft sheating which does not tangle up. It easily changes from Celcius to Farenheit and will store your previously used setting. An outstanding feature is the sleep mode which takes effect after the unit has been idle for twenty minutes. The stand is made from aluminum with a cradle that holds the iron securely.I highly recommend the Sealbody SSA51 from beginner to intermediate.

Good value for the price.
It is a far higher quality build than any other stations in it's price class. I believe that it is a copy of the TOAUTO DS882 Soldering Station without the Hot Air Gun Rework. This unit can be calibrated as well as having 3 memory slots to save your desired temperature. You can also set it to Fahrenheit or Celsius. It has a fuse for protection in the back of the station. The large digital display is nice! Finding tips is NOT easy. This soldering station uses 600 series tips. It also has a sort of hexagonal "insert" inside the tip tube that helps to grip the tip to the solder pen. I purchased 5 Sealody brand tips so they fit perfectly but, I would caution buying another brand of tips due to the weird hexagonal fitting. Overall I think that this is a good station. Time will tell whether it lasts.

Looking for a well built solid soldering station, look no farther.
Works as described. I have been wanting a quality soldering station for a long time and after using the pen style soldering irons it was finally time to upgrade. After doing much research I decided on the Sealody Soldering station and it turns out I made the right choice. The Soldering iron heats quickly and It is very easy and quick to change the tip temperature up or down. It comes with the base unit Soldering Iron, and a heavy stand to hold the iron that includes a sponge and heavy steel wool tip cleaner. If you are wanting to upgrade from a simple pen soldering iron to a soldering station, this might just be the one you are looking for.

Quality product far beyond the cheap chinese norm
So pleasantly surprised...I got a good one!! This unit is made like US quality. The heating unit has digital readout and heats up in 10 seconds from cold start. It is actually safe to leave on in sleep mode--just in case, but not the best practice. If you tin the tip properly after opening, this operates as a professional grade unit! Soldering results are perfect too. So I write this review as if it is a one-of-a-kind long shot---IT IS!!!! SO many items on Amazon now are of the cheap replica chinese copy variety with sellers who don't know their products or cannot communicate very well. Beyond frustrating. I wish they would clean house and get their act together before they let a competitor in, to cloud the market. I almost exclusively buy from Amazon with prime membership. This soldering unit represents the experience we all hope to receive.

Good performance for the $$
For the price I don’t think you can do better than this one. I haven’t opened it up to give it the fine tooth look over but as performance goes it is a great little tool for a budget. I have been working with it for weeks. My hobby is repairing old electronics, computers, video games, TV’s etc.. mostly vintage stuff. This has been a good addition to my tools after my last soldering station needed replacing. Like I said I should open it up and take a hard look at what is under the hood but so far I’m a fan.

I haven't used it extensively yet, but it seems to be pretty nice.
I've only put about two hours on it. The wand lead is silicon and very flexible.POSITIVES:--It seems to hold it's temperature really well when soldering.--It has an auto suspend function activated by wand motion. It comes back on automatically when you pick up the wand.--Uses a huge, heavy transformer.--It has a temperature calibration mode so if you have a temperature measuring device, you can calibrate the temperature you see on the LCD screen to the exact temperature of the tip.--The wand station is made from aluminum and is extra heavy. It works very well.--Hakko 900M series tips fit this wand, e.g., Hakko T18-D 1.2NEGATIVES--Mine came with two tips, one large knife tip and one small conical tip. I think a 1.2mm and 2.4mm chisel tip would have been MUCH more useful.I can't say anything bad about this machine. I've used it probably about two hours total. I've had no problems with it. It just works and works well. This thing will probably last forever.

I usually stay away from tools made in China
...but this one seems to be pretty high quality all around. Tested it only twice so far, so no long-term feedback, but it heats up fast, and it has enough power to get thicker workpieces hot enough for the solder to flow.My last Weller iron zapped me with 120 volts, so this one will be it for everything in my garage from now on.

Fantastic value for the money-heats quickly
I am very pleasantly surprised by how well this soldering station works considering how little it costs. The handle stays cool, the tip heats up very quickly. I own a more expensive soldering that doesn't perform quite as well in these two areas. The only feature of my more expensive station this one misses is having two temperature presets.I've used this station for hours at a time and everything stayed cool that should stay cool. The iron stand is among the best I've used. All in all, I couldn't ask for more value for my money.
