I don't have any pets but I guess that this should work. I have two little kids who badly stained my leather loveseat and recliner. I used the Furniture Clinic leather cleaner first before applying the protection cream. This kit definitely saved all my leather furniture.

How long do we have to wait to use the car seats after cleaning and applying the cream?

I used them on my leather couch and sat on it after about 15 minutes.

Can this be used on suede or nubuck?

It is leather care not suede care. You need a different product for that.
