I bought this to give extra practice Algebra and Grade 7 math. The questions are good. The answers and the solutions help a lot. My main purpose was to train the kids to do the problems within time limit and these set of questions really helped me.The whole series is good

Great for doing a variety of challenge problems that include easy, medium and hard problems and cover 3 grade levels. Many problems + good variety = great for learning & challenging a little mind. You get your money's worth in my opinion.

nice book for 6th graders, some tests are really challenging. It kept my son occupied in summer vacation. I give it 5 stars.

After working through the problems in Math Contests, Grades 7 & 8, Vol. 5, I went straight for Volume 6. It's as good as the other one, and I've enjoyed the problems.Somehow, the level of difficulty is down in this one compared to Volumes 4 and 5, and some of the problems are too repetitive.All in all, Math Contests, Grades 7 & 8, Vol. 6 is worth the time spent.Check out my YouTube videos of similar problems to the book by googling "Mr. Math Expert Math Olympiad Contest Problems for Elementary and Middle Schools," "Mr. Math Expert Selected Math Puzzles," and "Mr. Math Expert Math League" for more practice.

My 13 year old math loving teenager is using these; what I like is that not only are there answers, there are solutions as well on a separate page - which is very important for tricky questions.

My son of Grade 8 ordered this booking in January to prepare for Math League contest on Feb. 18. It is a good training programme before the formal exam. The solutions to all the contest questions are thorough and detailed. We use the rating scales at the end of the booking to rate his performance. He is very excited about this moment because it is his trophy. He is aiming for Mathematical Wizard.Math League contest consists of 35 multiple-choice questions that you can do in 30 minutes, so you need to practice more to improve the fast thinking and accurate calculating skill. I recommend to buy the book in order to perform well in the final exam.
