Haven't used any yet, hopefully won't have to. Production 2022, expiration 2027. The ones I got are good for 3.5 years. That's fine. I didn't get a 10 pack because I figure 4 is more than enough for one situation and cheap enough to replace if something happens or every 4-5 years when they expire.

Looks good. It’s kind of hard to review its reliability though since I haven’t had to use it (and hopefully won’t need to). It is manufactured in the PRC (China) if that’s a deal breaker for you.Some of these reviews are unfair though, commenting on the fact that it’s non-vented when it clearly says in several places that it isn’t. The pack even has instructions on it explaining what to do if the patient does develop tension pneumothorax, so that’s helpful.I am knocking off one star simply for the shelf life, and that’s on the seller and not the product itself. I’m well aware of the importance of FIFO when it comes to supply management, but I’m a little upset about paying full price for a medical device with 1/5 of its shelf life already passed. I’ve seen other reviews address the same issue, so if you’re going to buy this product on here, expect the same.

I am a police officer in a major city on the east coast. I bought these for my entire precinct for their trauma kits. Was not sure if they would be a quality item or not but yesterday I arrived first on scene to a GSW to the chest. It was a sucking chest wound and was able to field test the chest seals. Very user friendly and a quality item. Once the backing is pealed off the seal it is very sticky and held firmly in place all the way to the operating table. This is a five star item 👍🏼

Thankfully I have not used them! But the packaging is nice and durable feeling. I wanted some to keep on hand in our first aid kits!
