I don't like to sound like a pessimist but I have seen products sell a "bill of goods" many times. I have lots of experience with cloning computer hard drives so when this product said it does that I was skeptical. However, I felt confident it would at the very least function as external drive bays and I could continue to use my usual software solutions for cloning. Now, I've only tried this once and I cloned a non Windows system BUT it worked, and I'll add FLAWLESSLY! I followed the very simple instructions and walked away. When I returned form other projects I saw that the clone was complete. I installed the new hard drive in the computer... BOOM! It worked! If I sound excited I am. If that's all this product did I'd be thrilled. It works great to read old drives, move files... Very pleased. This is all on day one so fingers crossed it becomes a permanent part of my computer station.

this has worked flawlessly so far, very helpful for accessing sata hard drives after hardware failures, creating backups/cloning hard drives as well as running graphically complex games and expanding storage space on a constant basis and drawing files from during use of DAW or video editing software.very good docking station.

For the PC connection, it recognizes and works with larger drives, (I've only tested up to 16TB drives) fine. The 10TB limit appears to only apply to the drive to drive cloning feature. I asked their support and got a vague answer, so thought I'd share.

It' 4 months old for me now and works fine, nice and fast. It's much nicer than the old eSATA setup I was using.

I havnt got it to work yet. I messed around for a little bit. I had 2 12tb drives but can't seem to see them on my pc I will update once I get it working

I used this to copy an SSD right after I got it, so I thought it was working okay.Tried to use it again and it doesn't connect to USB or even show a power light.Order history shows it was delivered March 4th.So it died just sitting there within just over 3 months.

I cheaped out and bought another HDD dock for $10 less and that turned out to be a massive mistake. A couple weeks after the return period ended it corrupted both of the drives that I had plugged in it! I wish I had just bought this instead! Unlike the other drive, it doesn't randomly disconnect from my computer even when I have two full sized 3.5" HDD's in it. I have not used the clone feature as I usually use a program to clone, but I could see it coming in handy in a pinch. I also get the same transfer speeds on any drive I've plugged in as when I have it plugged in directly with a SATA cable. I couldn't recommend this dock more highly!
