YYST 4 PCS Kayak Paddle Clip Paddle Holder Paddle Keeper Vertical Mounted NO Side Mounted

Very soft. Not good for kayaks.
These clips become very soft in weather above 70F. At around 80F they are so soft that if they are not pointed directly straight up, your paddle will fall out with the slightest bump. When I say soft, they become really quite flexible and soft. It becomes hard to put the paddle into the clips due to the softness, they just bend inwards. I find that I had to put each end of the paddle into the clip, one end at a time. Not worth it at all. There is no place on my boats where they can be placed directly straight up. I would guess this is the case for most kayaks.Took them off and replaced with "Norme Kayak Paddle Clip with Hardware Universal Kayak Paddle Holder Clips Compatible with Perception Kayaks, Emotion Kayaks, Lifetime Kayaks, Pelican Kayaks, Malibu Kayaks, Vibe Kayaks" - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PHSCLKY/ New clips work great.

Great fishing rod holder
I ordered a fishing rod stand. The holders were too small for my saltwater rods so I used these to accommodate the larger rods. The handle on the first rod is 1.25 inches in diameter. The second picture show the rod that is yellow and red and the diameter of that rod is 7/8 inch. These clips do a great job!

Regains shape, flexible plastic
Easy to install and flexible plastic. It takes the kayak paddles but needs some effort. Doesn't just slip in and out. It adds profile to my kayak and often is flexed out of shape but it regains its original shape after a bit of time in the sun.Update: After a year of use they became brittle and I had to remove them.

Cheaply made but does very well holding my paddle.
So far it has held up considering the quality of the product. It holds my overside paddle securely and has yet to slip out of place. They are exposed when transporting so I don't recommend placing your kayaks on top of one another or at least directly over the clips but overall, they have held.

They're cheap and work fine.
These get damaged and deform pretty easily if bumped while transporting the kayak. They hold the paddle well enough, but can be finiky since the plastic is so soft. The mounting hardware isn't that great either, and is easy to pull the screw heads right through the soft plastic holes.

Hold My Pool Poles to the Wall
Got these to hold my long swimming pool brush and net poles vertically to a wall. The clips have two tiny screw holes for mounting to a kayak. I drilled a 3/16" hole between the two small holes so I could screw them to a wall. They work well to hold my lightweight aluminum poles firmly to the wall but allow easy removal for use.Just right.

paddle falls out easily. not eay to snap paddle intothe clip
I mounted two of these to hold a kayak paddle. Almost useless. The paddle comes out very, very easily (paddle is a Field & Stream Chute)… basically will just fall out. Also, the material is very soft and it's not easy to just snap the paddle in place. The clip wants to collapse rather than receive the paddle when any pressure is applied.

These little kayak paddle holders in my opinion are worth the money and do like they are suppose to BUT considering they are only mild rubber material and not the more solid/rigid type rubber, I do not have complete faith in them to not be safe than sorry and lose them. I have my paddle tethered when i get ready to put them in the holders just to be on the safe side, but i do like them and would consider buying these again.
