SpeedoUnisex Swim Goggles Optical Vanquisher

I purchased these goggles as a second resort when my initial purchase from a specialty swimming goods outlet messed up my shipping order. All I can say is that this worked out perfectly for me. The Vanquisher, despite being a few dollars less than my initial choice (the one not from Amazon), works wonders. My eyesight is really bad so I had to order the -7 diopter. I've used this pair exclusivley within an indoor pool setting for about a year now, swimming once a week for approximately 12 months straight. The optical function of these goggles are obviously not perfect since they are not prescription, however it's safe, easy on my eyes (no vision issues), and provides a very necessary clarity while swimming. My main goals were to be able to see the clock and other swimmers and these goggles do the job perfectly. The only drawback I would have for this product would be that the anti-fogging cabailities eventually wore off (after a few months), however I think that's the norm so I don't want to take a star off of the rating for that. Overall very good product for the price and more importantly the function.

love them. this was my second purchase when I accidently left my first pair at the pool by mistake. I bought -7.0 and now I can see everything... clocks, the bottom of the pool, other people walking in that I want to wave to. and when pushed against wet skin the suction is great. I love the double strap. feels secure.

The goggles are ok, would recommend going up a level if you have to. I'm -7.25 and -7.5 and ordered a 7, since they don't recommend over correcting. I do see enough, so it isn't a huge problem, but I wonder if the -8 would have been better, just to take the final blurr out for the distance.

The product was a disaster. After using it for the second day it fogged up horribly. I am throwing it in the garbage as i can not swim with fogged up goggles.

I couldn't believe that I was able to see just as clearly as if I had my glasses on. And the price was great too (I think about $18). I am now a believer! The only complaint, and it's only because I'm blind as a bat, is that the sides of the goggles are really thick and look a little funny. But that's really my vanity that cares about that.

I am VERY nearsighted (purchased the -7.00s) and am pleased to report that these goggles get the job done well at a very affordable price. First and foremost, I can actually see! There are no leaks or fog. Plus, they are actually comfortable. I have a large head and deep-set eyes w/ very high cheekbones, thus, goggles are usually pretty uncomfortable for me. This is not the case with the Vanquishers. Swimming is more enjoyable being able to actually see in the water, and I feel safer. You can't beat this deal.

Nice goggles. They fit well. Are streamlined and optically correct enough for the price, without being custom. They also came with several nose bridge pieces, so that you can ensure the correct fit.

I love this product. I have not been able to really enjoy the water in years. I'm very nearsighted, have to wear my glasses, but was always afraid that I would lose them. These goggles are comfortable but water tight. When I first got them, they didn't fog up at all. Now that they are older, they do tend to fog up a bit, but I still love them.
