I've waited several weeks to review this product. I was a little worried about some of the one star reviews and wanted to see how it worked after I'd had it a bit. I'm happy to say that it gets the job done, and is easy to use and clean. This kettle has a loud whistle when it gets going, and heats quickly.It can be hot to the touch on the metal parts, but the included pot holder is flexible and works well. I love the color and how it looks in my kitchen. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this kettle for myself a few months ago. I love it! It’s very pretty! It’s easy to fill and to pour. There is a button to flip up the whistle on the spout so you can stop the whistle without removing the kettle from the burner. This also makes it easy to pour. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and my wrists and this is easy for me to use. I’m very happy with it. It would make a nice gift for someone on your list.

Love this tea kettle. Stylish enough to leave on my stove and heats water quite quickly.

This is my second kettle purchase in several months from Amazon. The first rusted under the lid. This one is larger than I thought and that makes it heavy for an older person when full. And the the lid is difficult to get off plus the handle gets scorchingly hot. They included a small rubber half glove but really, who wants to use one of those every time? My favorite kettle had a glass lid that came off very easily. And no rust under on the lid. And was balanced when full. I do have to return it and continue my quest for a workable kettle. Bought it based on all of the positive reviews but not sure if they were asked to review or not but they do not seem to fit as there is nothing "little," about this kettle.
