OneplUS 8 - 8Gb Ram + 128Gb (Uae Version) - Glacial Green [Amazon ExclUSive]

Pros: Great battery life, beautiful, fluid screen, performance, speed, charging. Cons: Some flickering while using google and the camera colours being rather altered. Cons are rather subject, depending on the person and can be addressed via software updates that occur fairly regularly. It's a great phone and would recommend it.

I’ve been using the OnePlus 8 for the past 5 years, and it has truly stood the test of time. Despite being a 2020 model, it still handles daily tasks smoothly—calls, browsing, streaming, and light gaming are no problem. The Snapdragon 865 chip, though old by today’s standards, continues to perform reliably. The 90Hz AMOLED display still looks great, with sharp visuals and smooth scrolling. Build quality is excellent—my phone has endured occasional drops with no major damage, and it still feels premium in hand. Battery life has naturally declined, but it still gets me through most of the day with moderate use. I replaced the battery once, which helped restore some life. The Warp Charging is still super fast and convenient. The camera is now outdated compared to newer phones. It takes good photos in daylight, but struggles in low light and lacks the AI features of modern flagships. Software updates have mostly stopped, which is a drawback if you care about the latest features or security. Overall, the OnePlus 8 has been a dependable companion. It might not compete with current flagship models, but for someone who values stability and performance over trends, it's still a great phone even after 5 years.

Oneplus is one best mobile is use out there i wish only if Oneplus stays with the good pricing the phone is getting update on time . charging speed is incredible

Very good to use. Battery is longing up to 2 days if it continuously connected with WiFi or mobile data. Getting charge very fast.

Best device. Affordable and best performer in the class. True flagship with after sales regular software updates

I bought this phone seeing review .. after one month itself it started getting stuck .. When you open gallery , it takes time to load image .. 256 gb rom and 12 gb ram ... and it is not working properly !!!!!?? waste of money ...

So far so good. Very happy with the phone. Pros: Great display Very fast Feels amazing in hand Great battery life, 40% per day (1h reddit - 1h web surfing - 30 min video calls - 30 min chatting - 30 min YT - 30 min of random things like calls, calculator, Excel, gallery, etc.) Fast enough charging, used to heat up at first during charging but it no longer does (has an option to adapt to your charging behavior), I charge twice a day (10 min each - 20% each) Cons: Sharing videos through WhatsApp absolutely destroys the quality. This is a problem with OnePlus's recent phones (source: complaints on OnePlus's website) and it has been occurring since 2021 apparently. One fix I found is to edit or compress the video with some app, and then sending it. But I don't want to do that for every video, it is time consuming and annoying. This problem below was fixed at some point: ~Extremely horrible front camera during video calls, it is just too bright. It does fine if you tap on your face while taking normal photos. Still too bad for the price you pay.~ The curved screen. No not because of the accidental touches, but because of the accidental touch detection that can't be turned off. The screen doesn't curve around as much as it does on the pro version, so accidental touches are not an issue. However the accidental touch detection makes the edges less responsive. Scrolling from the edge of the screen is super choppy because it registers your touch as an accidental touch but then realizes it is not, so it scrolls as intended, but after a few split seconds causing a sudden choppy scroll. You need to keep turning OTP back on to use earphones (true with my AKG earphones), the OTP turns off automatically so you have to turn it on every time. You can fix this without rooting the phone and voiding the warranty, but you need to go a few steps using ADB and stuff, so you have to be tech savvy to do it.

Good product.. Batter back up is super almost 2 days on light usage.. camera clarity is nice. IN2013 as mentioned.
