I needs the precious
I bought these specifically to make up for a vegan Omega-3 supplement that I found on sale at a local grocer. I didn't realize it lacked DHA until after I got it home (NOW 3-6-9). I haven't done bloodwork or anything, but these seem fine. I also just found out that DHA helps reduce dementia risk by ~60% when taking 1gm daily for 10 years. Look up those studies. So I will keep buying these even after I switch back to my original Omega-3 supplement (Amandean) that actually does have DHA, because it doesn't have enough of it either. So probably everyone should be taking this.

Great as a Prenatal DHA Supplement
I started taking this Vegan DHA supplement to compliment the prenatal from Naturelo that I was already taking after reading that higher DHA and Omega-3 supplementation during pregnancy reduced the life long risk of asthma for baby (among other benefits). These studies used fish oil supplements, but as a vegan I wasn’t about to go that route. Won’t know if the asthma-protective aspect worked for years, but in the meantime I found these easy to swallow, didn’t give me heartburn or a bad aftertaste, and are well priced from a brand I have come to prefer.

Is it just me? I'm pretty sure this still smells and tastes of fish.
I like the large amount of capsules you get for the price (120 capsules), but i bought it because its advertised as having no aftertaste, and causing no burps. It might just be me but burping after I eat a meal when i've taken these still leaves a fishy aftertaste. Oh well, otherwise its a good product. I really like that a single capsule is is 1000mg of Algal oil, instead of the other brands that need you to take 2 capsules to reach 1000mg. With this, taking two capsules at once gets me a whole 2000mg of Algal oil in one go, which is great.

Clump together into an unusable heap
I tried this supplement after Naturelo removed the DHA from its prenatals. The first bottle was fine, so I ordered another. The second bottle is a real disappointment—the capsules have increasingly stuck to themselves in the bottle and I’m struggling to get the last 30% of them out at all. I don’t know how to get them out unless I risk pinching them or just break the bottle open. The capsules are also cloudy as another reviewer noted; they didn’t look like that the first time. Frustrating that this product is a little pricey and so much of it is stuck in the bottle.
