Sci-Fi Revoltech Godzilla Revoltech #019 SciFi Super Poseable Action Figure Rodan

I thought I had some very amazing figures in my collection. This figure however, takes the game up to a whole new level of pristine perfection. I've been collecting S. H. Monster Arts Godzilla figures. They are very high quality. The toys I dreamed about since I was nine years old... toys so good they were like movie stop-motion props. I was afraid this company would not be as good... however I was wrong. This is even better! I am shocked at it's museum like quality in detail and craftsmanship. If you are looking for exact detail, and ultimate reproductions... this figure will make you very happy. I have Rodan along side my S. H. Monster Arts Godzilla and King Ghidorah (which are both breath taxingly awesome) and this stands out as being even MORE detailed. It seems a little smaller in scale, but I like how it makes Ghidorah tower over Rodan - what a monster. My inner child is delighted. My outer adult feels I don't have a toy collection, I have an art collection. This is art; Pop-Culture Art at it's best commercial production level. Love Godzilla and Rodan? Always wanted a figure that would REALLY look great - this it it.

This is a great figure by Revoltech. The coloring and details are very nice, the accessories are decent, the figure is quite poseable. My only issue is that one of the joints for the wing was a bit tight going in and actually snapped, breaking off at the peg. Luckily I own a bag of replacement joints so I was able to replace it easily. The wings, head, neck, mouth, legs, ankles and waist are on joints so they move, pretty decent range of motion as well. It would be nice if the neck was able to look further up, but as it stands it's a great figure. This is my 4th Revoltech figure and I really enjoy it.

The figure itself is great. If you prefer classic Rodan over Fire Rodan then this is the way to go. A great add to the collection. Sadly the figure box it came in was ruined... If it was in great condition I would say this is the perfect purchase. (Thats why I gave it a 4) But the Rodan figure is no disappointment. Waaay better paint job than S.H. Monsterarts. And way better at posing.

The original ShodaiRado design of Rodan has always been my favorite for him. That movie is very special to me because I used to watch it with my Granddad and his favorite kaiju was Rodan.Revoltech Rodan is about 4.5 inches tall with about a 10 inch wingspan. He is a little out of scale with the S.H. MonsterArts figures because he is a full inch shorter than them, but I think Fire Rodan is about the same height so maybe that doesn't matter much. The sculpt, paint, articulation, and accessories are all great.I can't recommend this figure enough to any kaiju fan. A MUST HAVE for any Rodan fan!

Excellent adaptation of the 1956 Rodan, still my favorite design. The only drawback is that he cannot stand on his own, but this can be worked on if you're creative with your poses. The accessories such as the damaged building and tiny Rodan-in-flight are neat additions. While a little smaller in scale compared to both the Neca Godzilla and SH Monster Arts Godzilla 1994 figures, it's a minor complaint that you can overlook when you recreate your favorite Godzilla and Rodan moments. Highly recommended.

If anything Revoltech's Rodan is even more fun than their awesome Baragon figure! Toho's original 1956 Rodan suit is one my favorites (along with Varan) and one of their best designs. Revoltech has faithfully captured all the majesty and fearsomeness of this monster-suit effect. As with the Baragon figure the small size has not prevented Revoltech from including lots of amazing details of this monsters appearance, even down to teeth and eyeballs! Now if only Revoltech will do a Varan figure I could die happy! (hint hint)

Very pleased to finally own a Old school design of Rodan. Hope to add more monsters to my collection.

Pricy, but awesome! An awesome addition to my collection... just need a good Ghidorah, no not the mechanized one, the traditional one! This is the Rodan from my childhood, and perfectly sculpted!

I received this for Christmas and had great hopes for it however it can't stand on its own Its head continuously falls off I am surprised I haven't lost it yet its wings do not curve it does not have that many points of articulation but the building that came with it and the small flying rodan were nice

先日「ラドン」のDVDを見直してみましたが、この商品はまさに「初代ラドン」ですね。というくらいに造形は素晴らしく再現されていると思います。「リボ球の使用数」が少ないのは仕方ありませんし「針金による翼の可動」は良いアイデアだとは思うのですが、モスラ同様「リボルテック」としては物足りなさを感じます。デザインに忠実であるがゆえに足も小さく細いので自立はほぼ不可能ですし。「首の可動」はちょっと工夫すれば飛行形態時も問題ありませんから、それくらいはご自分で考えて試してみてください。付属品の「可動する岩田屋」も、アイデアは買いますがスケール的に無理があるので不要ですね。だったら「メガヌロン数体」のほうが良かったと思います。同時に「エイリアン・クィーン」を購入したせいか、こちらはちょっと割高感もありますが、それでも「造形、可動、価格」の全てに４点は付けられる完成度だと思いますよ。来月発売の「アンギラス」を賑やかに迎えるためにも、今後の「主役発売」を実現させるためにも是非ご購入を(笑)

ハイスピードカメラで撮影された博多の街に降り立つシーンは、そのミニチュアワークとともに東宝特撮史上最高の生物感を出していました。この特撮リボルテック版は、まさにその瞬間を切り取ったかのような秀逸な造形です。大好きな映画のフギュアがこのような高品質で発売してくれた事に大感謝です！

箱も本体もまったく傷が無く、新品と言っても良いくらいのものでした。
