Good antenna

This antenna was super cheap, super easy to install, and when I tuned it I thought the tuner was broke because the SWR levels were so low. I have moved on to a Francis 5.5, but honestly the 3fter was more than enough and seemed to work perfectly.

Good receive, SWR was around 1.3 with 15’ of static mini 8 coax.

I had bought an antenna from Amazon before the fibreglass antenna with the sun made it brittle, but for the price that I bought it was okay, so I bought I’ll purchase another one to replace it and this one is even better. I could pick up other radios from a good distance Without a lot of static and the price was also great if you own CB on the great

The gain on this is not a joke. I have tried every antenna you can name..for a vertical 5/8 wave you can’t beat this. I run the vhf/uhf as well also about 17’ tall. You can’t miss with this antenna. Seal it up where it threads together. Had it a long time now. BUY IT.

I have this on a lip mount on the trunk of my sedan, and got the SWR down to about 1.3 around channel 19, and 1.7 at 1 & 40. I am very happy with the tune. The major drawback I noticed is that, once the red rubber tip was put on the tuning screw, the SWR jumped up above 2. I'm leaving it off for now, not that the bare screw is any more attractive than the red tip. Other than this disappointing feature, it's performing the best out of the 3 antennas I've tried.

YMMV but I hang a flag off mine every once in a while. 70mph and it holds strong. Also does its job and picks up other cb's on the trail. Great antenna for the money!
