Philips Wireless Doorbell Kit, Plug-In Reciever, 2 Push Buttons, 8 Melodies

Our previous doorbell was a battery-operated model left by the former owner, and it was a constant hassle. I grew tired of constantly replacing the batteries, which always seemed to die right when someone was at the door. This new doorbell plugs directly into the electricity, solving that problem completely. It was incredibly easy to install and configure. Since we live in a smaller house, having the two buttons connect directly to the main device is perfect for us. Choosing the ringtones and adjusting the volume is straightforward, and the unit works exactly as described. It is also priced very reasonably. Some might argue that a wired doorbell won't work during a power outage, but for the reliability and convenience it offers every other day of the year. We like this product very much!

Great product- I ordered another one that was a few bucks cheaper but the only way to hand the doorbells was adhesive which I knew would not hold up. Happy to get this one, which also had adhesive but has option of screwing the backs in and came with the screws. Just what I was looking for - works great!

Easy to install and clear sound. I did have to unplug & replug the receiver after a power glitch; not sure if that's normal. Since "each doorbell receiver can pair with up to 4 push buttons", I thought I'd just buy 2 additional push buttons, but I can't find that option on Amazon at all, nor do I see it at the website listed in the installation instructions that came with the doorbell. I called the support number and they said to look for DES4110R/27 for replacement buttons. Not in stock at Amazon. So...I'll give 5 stars because I received exactly what I ordered, but a little disappointed that expanding it with 2 additional push buttons isn't going to be as easy as I thought. (I ended up buying another entire kit so I could pair 2 more buttons with the first receiver. Hope that works!)

When your wired doorbell stops working, this is a economic and simple replacement alternative. My only complaint is the outside cover doesn't always snap securely to the base (especially if you screwed the base to the outside wall too tight and warped the base slightly). The base part with the electronics and the cover part with the button are secured together only by a weak thin plastic tab at the bottom. Do not push that tab down trying to make it snap securely, or you may end up breaking it completely off as I did. Fortunately I had bought the two push button doorbell version and replaced the first with the second and didn't screw in the base to the wall as tight. The foam tape option I tried first didn't adhere well and was sagging which is why I screwed in the base to the outside wall instead. All that said, it's a good product and it works fine.

The doorbell was easy to install and worked very well.

Works as advertised. Loud, I can hear these while something else is making noise like power tools or the washing machine. Installed 2 of these doorbells. One is on the door of the shop. Works perfectly.

Better than the old school hardwired ones. Can adjust the chime and the volume. Easy to use!
