Is it a good width for a diamond pendant?

It depends on the pendant. I bought the chain in yellow gold. The chain reflects light very well, so it helps to bring out the sparkle in the diamond pendants I wear it with. Although it is a thin chain, it might be too thick for a tiny pendant. On the other hand, it might not be sturdy enough for a very large or very heavy pendant. The pendants I wear it with tend to be 3/4 to 1 1/2 inches long and 1/2 to 1 inch wide.

I bought the white gold for my Gf. It's nice for a girl but I think a bit small for a guy.

Do you sell a white gold spring clasp? I already have the chain and need to replace the clasp. Thank you

Unfortunately, we carry a 0.9 mm box chain with lobster clasp only and 0.6 mm box chain with spring clasp.

Is this thick enough to hold a pendant that has loved one’s ashes in it?

That would depend on the size of your pendant. I gave this to my mom because she wanted to do the same with my Dad's ashes. She used a small locket, pendant, (whatever it's called) to hold a tiny amount of his ashes. Her pendant was small, maybe about 3/4"L, 1/4" round. It seems like it is strong enough. She's not worried about it breaking.

Amazingly Delicate Beautiful Chain

I was very apprehensive to buy a gold chain online but with the reviews that I had seen I took a shot! This is the nicest gorgeous little chain for my cross and it’s sturdy and it just glistens. I would highly recommend it to anyone and the price was surprisingly reasonable.

Wonderful!

This chain is perfect! The weight is perfect for larger, somewhat heavier pendants. I bought this chain for a pendant I had custom made. When I wore it, my friends were more impressed by the chain than the pendant, which they really liked as well. They kept commenting about how the chain sparkled. I will definitely buy again if I need another chain.

Delicate but sturdy with a tiny clasp

I have had this necklace for a year and I love it! I wear it with and without a pendant and it looks great either way. It's delicate but sturdy. My only complaint is that the clasp is TINY. If you have big fingers or arthritis, you probably won't be able to open it.

Not good quality

I am extremely unhappy with this chain. It says it is 14k solid gold yet after having it done time it looks very dull and wearing off gold which should not happen with 14k
